VOLUNTEERS-STUDENTS FROM PHYSICS AND ENGINEERING FACULTY VISITED MOZYR DISTRICT SOCIAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CENTER

The volunteers-students from Physics and Engineering Faculty visited the State Educational Establishment “Mozyr District Social and Pedagogical Center” on December 27, 2021. The attendees of the center participated in the Christmas performance prepared by MSPU students. They met Father Frost and his granddaughter. They sang and danced and enjoyed the time participating in the festive contests.

ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION “CURRENT ISSUES FOR ENHANCEMENT ACTIVITIES OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS OF THE BELARUSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH”

The round-table discussion devoted to the topic “Current issues for enhancement of activities of religious educational establishments of the Belarusian Orthodox Church” was held on December 23, 2021. The discussion was arranged by the Department for Synodal Religious Education and Catechetesis of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. Liudmila Gavrilovets, Associate Professor, Department of History and Social Sciences, Philology Faculty, took part in the discussion. She presented the report devoted to the self-check activities held at the religious educational establishments.

FINAL MSPU TRADE-UNION CONFERENCE

Final Trade-Union Conference was held at MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin. Viktor Strukov, the Chairman, presented the report and the video records devoted to the activities and changes which were made and achieved in 2021. Tatsiana Paliyeva, First Vice-Rector, presented her report devoted to the affairs conducted according to MSPU collective employment agreement. Much attention was paid to the addition to the current version of the agreement. New vectors of development were determined at the end of the conference. Valentina Zabrodskaya, a veteran of teaching work, was invited to the conference and was awarded with a thanks-giving letter.

FESTIVE THERAPHY PERFORMANCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

MSPU students majoring in Physical Education visited Mozyr Center for Social Services where young people with disabilities spent their time. Natalia Nichiporko and Vitaly Metlushko, MSPU teachers, together with the students prepared a festive therapy performance “From heart to heart”. The main idea of the performance was to get relaxed, put the attendees of the center into a better mood and upgrade general physical and mental state. Social rehabilitation alongside with goal-orientated potential were the key elements of the therapy. The young people with disabilities were quite happy and full of enthusiasm, because they were given a chance to express their wish to be needed, to be surrounded by new people and to be involved into the cultural affairs.

STATE CHRISTMAS STUDENT BALL

State Christmas Student Ball was held at the premises of Independence Palace on December 24, 2021. The best students from all the Belarusian Universities were invited. There were 337 participants who made great achievements in science, social affairs and creativity. MSPU delegation was represented by Vasily Sharko (Physical Education Department), Karina Malinovskaya (Philology Department), Valentin Moldunov (Philology Department). The list of the honorary guests was great i.e. Alexandr Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexandr Volfovich, the State Secretary of the Security Council, Igor Lutsky, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Anatoly Markevich, Minister of Culture, Igor Petrishchenko, Deputy Prime Minister, Vladimir Kuharev, the Head of Minsk Executive Committee, Dmitry Baskov, the member of the State Council of the National Assembly, Maria Vasilevich, the Deputy member of the National Assembly.
