On July 2, 1964 by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of BSSR No. 295 Mozyr State Pedagogical Institute was named after N.K.Krupskaya.
On July 5, 1944 Psychology and Pedagogics Chair was established; it was renamed as Pedagogics Chair in 1996.
On July 22, 1952 Mozyr Teachers’ Institute was reorganized into Mozyr Pedagogical Institute by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of BSSR No.999.
