Position in the educational process

Academic discipline is a State component included into the programme of the 2nd degree – specialization “Theory and methodology of Physical Education, Sport training, health-giving and adaptive physical education”.

Aim, Tasks, Competence

Aim: to train experts of Higher qualification as a part of profound knowledge in fundamentals of Physical education, Sport and train experts who will get experience in IT, research, Physical education and public awareness campaigns.

Task: to form modern way of thinking of future experts in the field of physical education and sport, to take into account up-to-date situation in market-driven economics of Belarus, to systematize and enhance theoretical and practical knowledge in this or that field; to accept theoretical and methodological knowledge, practical skills and competence for future profession; to apply to IT methods; to develop the skills for reflection of phenomena of Teaching reality; to analyze personal activities and analytical skills.

Competence: AK-2, AK-3, CЛК-3, СЛК-5, СЛК-6, СЛК-7, СЛК-8, СЛК-9, ПК-1, ПК-2, ПК-3, ПК-4, ПК-6, ПК-11, ПК-15.

Aim: at the Department of Physical education the aim of training is to form a system of specialized knowledge, skills and competence useful for creation means, methods and forms.

Task:

-to accept the fundamentals of management and conducting activities on Physical education and Recreation for male and female people, people from different age groups and people whose training level is not the same;

-to obtain fundamentals of training techniques;

-to form skills and competence for the use of special equipment, management of academic and training tutorials, skill for training.

Task: to accept the leading pedagogical ideas, notions and facts for regularities and concepts in the field of physical culture and sport; to get the idea how means for project making could be used and how it could be helpful for arrangement of a teaching process; to apply to the system of practical skills and competence in the field of Pedagogics of sport; to form knowledge and skills for arrangement and implementation of educational work in sporting and recreational organizations.

Aim: to enhance the overview of students regarding professional activity in the field of physical education and sport (as exemplified by the rules of a sport game); to integrate and systematize the knowledge of students in the field of a unified methodological concept; to create the backgrounds for effective use of knowledge, skills and competence while conducting professional activities and teaching Physical education.

Task:

-  accept methodological fundamentals of sport games;

- study fundamentals of teaching methodology for technical and tactical basketball, volleyball, handball, football;

- to study fundamentals of theory and methodology for creation and conducting of PE lessons for sport games;
