In accordance with the list of priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated April 1, 2025, No. 135 for 2026–2030, taking into account the profile of specialist training and in accordance with the decision of the University's Scientific and Technical Council (Minutes No. 11 dated October 9, 2025), the Rector's Order No. 1108 dated October 13, 2025, approved the main areas of scientific activity of the Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin for 2026–2030:
1. Theoretical, methodological, and scientific-methodological support for pedagogical education in the context of the national sustainable development strategy;
2. Photonics and laser-optical technologies, multifunctional materials in industry;
3. Fundamental interactions and the theory of elementary particles;
4. Natural and artificial ecosystems of southeastern Polesia: technologies for the conservation and ecological rehabilitation of natural resources;
5. Current issues in the linguistic and literary continuum;
6. Preservation of cultural and historical ties, traditional spiritual and moral values, and the development of physical culture and sports as the basis for social security in Belarusian society.
