SOCIAL CAMPAIGN “AFGANISTAN IS AN OPEN WOUND ”

photo There was a pullout of the Soviet troops from Afganistan on February 15, 1989. With the aim to commemorate this date the representatives of the Faculty of Physical education conducted a curatorial hour devoted to the Memorial Day of Peacekeeping soldiers on February 17, 2022. The main objective of the event is the cultivation of patriotism among students, the formation of clear ideas of what courage, morality, respect really mean and to support talented young people.

The students prepared the presentation and the quiz devoted to the History of those days. Much attention was paid to such important things as unit cohesion and Afgan life style. Mozyr city dwellers who participated in the war and died were paid respect by a one-minute silence.

Patriotic and educational events allow the students to feel their affiliation with the civil society and shows the need to communicate properly, to exchange the experience and to be motivated for self-development.

CONGRATULATIONS!

photo Anna Yudenkova, Head of MSPU Postgraduate center, PhD in Philology, participated in the 56 th International Science and Research Project which was arranged by the all-Russian society for new developments in science and research (Moscow, Russian Federation) on February 16, 2022. Anna Yudenkova submitted the scientific project “Conceptualization of the onym Pushkin in the works of Belarusian literature of the XX century”. The project was evaluated and Anna Yudenkova was awarded with the diploma of the first grade. This scientific project was implemented within the Scientific and Research Project “Key identifiers of the Belarusian linguistic culture and non-cultural linguistic phenomenon in the context of the challenges due to globalization and information-digital era” guided by Sergey Kurash, PhD inPhilology, Associate Professor.

PRACTICAL EXERCISE LESSON IN BIOLOGICAL CHEMISTRY FOR PUPILS FROM MOZYR AND ELSK

photoThe pupils from Mozyr and Elsk (State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No.6 in Mozyr”, State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No.14 in Mozyr”, State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No.2 in Elsk”) visited the Department of Biological and Chemical Education (Technology and Biology Faculty) on January 29, 2022 to take part in the practical exercise lesson in Biological Chemistry. The topic of the lesson was “Protein exchange”. It is a basic topic in Biochemistry, because protein fulfills a wide range of functions i.e. it builds, it protects, it regulates, it transports, it reduces, etc. The pupils got acquainted with the protein classification, structure, meaning, peculiarities of digestion, amino acid metabolism in the tissues. The pupils received useful knowledge and did a laboratory research project devoted to determination of general protein in the blood. At the end of the lesson the pupils expressed their deepest appreciation to the representatives of the Department of Biological and Chemistry.

THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF UPDATED CONSTITUTION: MEETING WITH THE STUDENTS FROM PHYSICAL EDUCAION FACULTY

photo MSPU administration represented by Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Sergey Blotsky, Dean of Physical Education Faculty, Viktor Strukov, Chairman of MSPU trade union committee, and Alexandr Serkov, a representative of Mozyr Deputy Council, met the students from Physical Education Faculty with the aim to speak about the most important aspects of the updated constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
