Mozyr local chess tournament was held at the premises of Sport School No.2 on March 22, 2022. MSPU team took part and won the second prize. Pavel Koshman, Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining, took part at the competition.
MSPU students was participating in the Interagency State Prophylactic Campaign “We choose a healthy life!” from March 14, 2022 till March 20, 2022. The campaign was arranged with the aim to prevent drug and psychotropic substances abuse by young people. A wide range of thematic exhibitions, sport events, meetings were held at the University to support the campaign.
March 24 is a special day for every person all over the world, because this is the day when we discuss
the topicality of TB problem. In this vein Tatsiana Primenok, a Phthisiology expert, delivered a lecture
devoted to the topic “What preventive measures must be used to stop Tuberculosis” at the premises
of MSPU Center for Ideology. Much attention was paid to the discovery of TB, TB harms, preventive
measures to stop TB. A white chamomile is a symbol of healthy breathing and it is treated as a
symbol of the worldwide day of fighting against tuberculosis.

MSPU students majoring in “Physical Education” participated in the meeting devoted to the Day of the Constitution on March 17, 2022. Vitaly Metlushko, Faculty of Physical Education, delivered a speech where he paid much attention to the point that the Constitution was the key document a modern and independent state built its strategy of development and growth.
Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin, met Olga Sivchuck, the head of Elsk Department of Education, and the representatives of this department on March 16, 2022. The meeting was devoted to the modern tendencies used to develop the system of education and the directions of further cooperation in the field of teachers’ training. Valery Naunyka informed the guests of the meeting about the results of the admission campaign 2021. He spoke about the bachelor degree programs the University was ready to provide prospective students with in 2022.
