STUDENT OF THE YEAR – 2018

On November 02, 2018 State Contest “Student of the year - 2018” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. 5 best students participated in the contest i.e. Marina Gara (Physical Education Department), Tatsiana Polyha (Technology and Biology Department), Anna Polyn (Physics and Engineering Department), Ksenia Katruck (Philology Department), Alexandra Dratch (Department of Preschool and Elementary Education).

All the participants have great achievements in studies and research, that’s why they were chosen to present the honour of their departments. The ladies participated in the following contests: self-presentation contest “Let’s get acquainted”, oratorical mastership “How be a professional”, creative contest “My Motherhood”.

On October 30 – November 01, 2018 Olga Eremkina, Professor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Representative of the Chair of Pedagogics and Management of Education at Federal State Educational Establishment of Higher Education “Ryazan State University named after Sergey Esenin”, acting member of the International Academy of Sciences for Education in Pedagogics, lectured on the topic “Psychognostic support of a child which will influence positively on his personal development”.

The main objective of the course was to form basic overview about personal development of a child in a safe way for him with regard to specific features in the field of solutions and making attempts to prepare the elementary school children to start the studies at secondary school.

PREDEGREE INTERNSHIP OF THE STUDENTS FROM PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

31-7 On October 22, 2018 Philology graduates majoring in “Russian and Russian Literature”, “Belarusian and Belarusian Literature” participated in the final conference where the main achievements were discussed; the conference was conducted at the premises of Secondary School No. 1 in Mozyr. Much attention was paid to aspects of fruitful cooperation between “University - School”. The teachers of the Secondary school No.1 said the level of proficiency of students they saw was high and satisfactory and the prospective teachers could work at school easily.

VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES AT PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

On October 30, 2018 bachelor degree students who major in Physical Education under the assistance of Natalia Nichiporko, Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, conducted a social campaign at the premises of territorial center for social service in Mozyr.

Volunteering activities help people to turn into reality the most distinguished ideas. Students-volunteers could share with those who really need it time, energy, skills and knowledge. Volunteer activities help people to feel that someone needs them. All the participants stated that the campaign influenced positively on their personal, individual and social overview.

5TH TUROV EDUCATIONAL EPARCHIAL READINGS

On October 26, 2018 5^th Turov Educational Eparchial Readings “Young people: freedom and responsibility” were held at the premises of Philology Department. The following prominent spiritual individual leaders greeted the audience during the plenary meeting i.e. Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department; Igumen the Father Superior, superior of Saint-Birth-the Blessed Virgin Monastery in agro-town Yurovichi, Head of the Department for Religious Education, Catechetesis, Missionary work at Turov Eparchy.

While speaking to the audience Tatsiana Symanovich singled out that the cooperation established between MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and Turov Eparchy was fruitful for many years and in 2018 Innovation center for spiritual - moral and civil-patriotic education with regard to Orthodox background of the Belarusian people was opened at the premises of the Chair of History and Social disciplines. The main objective of the center was the development of fundamental and applied research in the field of Belarusian heritage, its investigation and inclusion of the results into the educational process.
