ACADEMIC CONTEST IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN TEACHING METHODOLOGY

On October 16, 2018 4th year students who major in “Foreign languages (English, German)” participated in Academic Contest in English and Russian Teaching Methodology with support of Korolenko Glazov State Teacher’s Training University (Russian Federation)

Academic contest involved two periods: virtual and non-virtual. Participants were to write an essay on the subject “Let’s study English and enjoy”. Then the students were to present a part of the lesson in either English or Russian. MSPU students prepared several lessons to present i.e. “What is kindness, respect and friendship”, “Do your best to be kind-hearted”, “How we kept Mother’s day”.

CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS

On October 18, 2018 “Factor of Success”, a competition for students’ talents, was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. MSPU students competed in various categories such as “Art of declamation”, “Vocality”, “Choreographic mastery”. Competitors showed their best talents and enjoyed the atmosphere of joy and creativity!

In October 2018 MSPU students from Physics and Engineering Department and Preschool and Elementary Department participated in State Campaign “Let’s do it - 2018”. The main objective of the campaign was to upgrade proficiency of students in ecology. In 2018 the students cleaned the central beach and collected more than 40 bags of rubbish.

STATE SPORT COMPETITION “FALL IN THE POLESYE”

25-1-1On October 20-21, 2018 State Sport Competition “Fall in the Polesye” was conducted in Mozyr. Wheelchair users participated in the competition under the support of MSPU students who majored in Physical Education. Wheelchair users from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine participated in the competition. Alexander Flerko, deputy director for academic activity of the center for Olympic training in Paralympic sports and Deaflympic games, opened the ceremony and greeted all the guests. MSPU students who majored in Physical Education were acting as volunteers and supported the athletes.

MEASURE YOUR PRESSURE

On October 24, 2018 the members of Social support center together with the representatives of the department “Mozyr Hygienic and Epidemiological Center” arranged a performance as a part of health campaign “Measure your pressure”. The main objective of the campaign was to prevent people from high blood pressure and tell them what to do if they want to stay healthy as long as possible. More than 50 people checked their blood pressure. Blood pressure is created in large through-passages; it provides tissues with oxygen.
