VOLUNTEER PROJECT “NOT NEARBY BUT TOGETHER”

On October 26-28, 2018 representatives of charitable non-governmental organization “World without boundaries” conducted a sum-up workshop devoted to the implementation of the project “Not nearby but together”. The main objective of the project was to train volunteers who could act as a contact person for teenagers who got in troubles or felt lonely. MSPU students participated in this project as volunteers.

The sum-up seminar last for 3 working days; all the events were devoted to team-building spirit and unity. Lots of important questions were discussed i.e. “What is the area of responsibility students could influence on?”, “What is the area of responsibility students couldn’t influence on?”

YOUNG PEOPLE AND MODERN ECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS

On October 24, 2018 research contest “Young people and modern ecological problems” was conducted at the premises of Technology and Biology Department; chief organizers: administration of Technology and Biology, Department for Ecology and Biology (State Educational Establishment “Mozyr Center for Children’s Creativity”.

The jury committee were the following ones: Oksana Pozyvailo, Dean of the Technology and Biology Department, Irina Turbal, the head of the Head of the Department for Ecology and Biology, Elena Guminskaya, Head of the chair of Biology and Ecology, Ludmila Bukinevich, Head teacher, Chair of Biology and Ecology, Alexey Pehota, Associate professor, Chair of Education in Biology and Chemistry, Irina Krishchuck, Associate professor, Chair of Education in Biology and Chemistry.

FRESHMAN DAY 2018

On October 2018, “Freshman day 2018” was held at the premises of Technology and Biology Department. There were 4 teams this year; each team prepared a bright and prominent performance!

“GTO” team (students who major in Biology (research activity)) presented a short movie which was devoted to their preparation to the contest. The students also showed a dancing performance which amazed the guests greatly. “Trap” team (students who major in Biology and Chemistry) showed their great mastery in signing, classic style and great team spirit.

In October 12, 2018 the representatives of MSPU Youth Department together with Turkmenian students participated in a small tour to Ancient Mozyr held at the museum center “Mozyr Castle”.

On October 18, 2018 International students from Turkmenistan conducted a specialized lesson devoted to History, culture and education of their Motherland. Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department, Tatsiana Chechko, Head of the Chair of Belarusian and Russian Philology, Irina Sudibor, Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs, were also invited to the lesson.
