RESEARCH AND PRACTICE SEMINAR “COMMUNIST YOUTH LEAGUE AND ITS HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE”

26-5      On October 22, 2018 research and practice seminar “Communist young league and its historical significance” was held at the premises of Philology Department; chief organizer – Chair of History and Social Studies. Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Olga Artyomenko, Deputy Chairman of Mozyr District Veteran Association, Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of the Philology Department, opened the ceremony.

All-Union Lenin Communist Youth League was a social and political youth organization which dealed with talented young people under the age of 14. The main objectives were the following ones: education of the young people with strong attachment to communism philosophy, involvement of young people into creation of new society, training of young people who have talents in various fields. All-Union Lenin Communist Youth League conducted activites to enhance civil, ideological, patriotic education and implementation of political and social projects.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF СOOPERATION

Administration of Elsk District High School expressed their deepest gratitude to Valentin Valetov, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, for assistance in arrangement of extra-curriculum classes in Physics and Mathematics given by Inessa Kovalchuck and Larisa Ivanenko.

For more than 10 years the representatives of the Chair of Physics and Mathematics have been teaching the pupils from Elsk District High School and it bears fruit i.e. graduates of the school successfully pass centralized testing. Thuswise, Elsk District High School got the 2nd prize in competition on academic achievements in Gomel region among High schools.

On October 04 – 06, 2018 VII INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND PRACTICE CONFERENCE “CONTEMPORARY ISSUES OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, SPORT AND TOURISM” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.

Valentin Valetov, Rector of the University, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, welcomed the guests and participants of the conference and expressed his gratitude. Elena Kallaur, trainer-coach of the national team for rowing and canoeing, Michail Koshman, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor (Francisk Skorina Gomel State University), Victor Koleda, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (Belarusian State University), Larisa Glazyrina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (Belarusian State University named after Maxim Tank) were the honorary guests of the conference and submitted their reports at the plenary meeting.

LIFE IS HAPPINESS, CREATE THIS HAPPINESS!

In September – October, 2018 annual affairs devoted to preventive measures against suicide were conducted at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. All the events were devoted to valuable attitude of young people to their own life and life around them.

On September 20, 2018 training “Lies and truth about suicide” was conducted at the premises of the center for ideology. The main objective of the affair was to form confidence of the students and their positive attitude to life.

On October 01 – 05, 2018 MSPU students participated in the social campaign “We vote for life!” and “Life is beautiful” held at the premises of Student Dormitory No. 1 and No. 2.

ORIENTEERING

On October 10, 2018 MSPU orienteering competition was held in the urban forest “Molodezhny”. Bachelor degree students majoring in Physical Education became the winners of the competition; trainers: Ivan Maslo, Head of the Chair for Theory and Methodology of Physical Education, and Vasily Budkovsky, Deputy dean for Sport Affairs.

The competition was arranged at a higher level and in a positive environment. Students from all the departments participated in the competition; some of them participated in such a competition for the first time. The winners were awarded with diplomas and medals.
