On November 15, 2018 State Methodology Association of the teachers in the field of additional education was held in Mozyr. The following topic was discussed “Support of talented pupils by means of enhancement and implementation of activities focused on visual art and decorative and applied arts”.

Representatives of Technology and Biology department participated in the meeting and arranged some exhibitions for the participants. 2 fashion collections made by Irina Makerenkova were shown. It was a great honour to say that those collections were shown at the State Fashion Contest “Mill of Fashion” and got the prizes.

CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF GREAT SPORTSMEN

On November 29, 2018 Celebration in honour of great sportsmen was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Valery Navnyko, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, greeted the audience and started the ceremony. Vladimir Shantarovich, Head trainer of the National team of the Republic of Belarus in Rowing and Canoeing, Honored trainer, an award holder of the prize “Belarusian Sport Olympus”, an honored citizen of Mozyr, Associate Professor of the Chair of Physical Education and Sport Disciplines congratulated the sportsmen and expressed his deepest gratitude to high motivation and a competitive spirit which led to success in sport career. Among the speakers there were Alexandr Myzgin, Head trainer of the National Team of the Republic of Belarus in Rowing and Canoeing, Sergey Makarchuck, Director of Educational Establishment “Gomel Regional Center of Olympic Reserve on Rowing types of sport”, Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Alexandr Serkov, Director of Educational Establishment “Gomel State College of Olympic Reserve”, Sergey Blotsky, Dean of Physical Education Department at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.

SHOOTING SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP

On November 28, 2018 Shooting sports championship was held at the premises of Secondary School No. 12 in Mozyr. Mozyr Department for Education, Sport and Tourism organized the competition. MSPU students also participated in the competition. Physical Education Department was represented by Yulia Bolbas, Alexandr Borisenko, Ilya Borisenko; representatives of the teams: Vitaly Doynyak, Nikolay Targonsky.

On November 26 – 28, 2018 Volleyball championship was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Female and male teams participated in the competition. MSPU students who are studying the discipline “Enhancement of sport mastery (valleyball)” were acting as referees. Results of the championship are the following:

SCHOOL-WIDE MEETING

On November 29, 2018 School-wide meeting was held at the premises of Secondary School No. 6 in Mozyr. Yulia Ranchinskaya, Representative of the Chair of Foreign Languages and Foreign Languages Teaching Methodology, took the floor and told the parents about great opportunities students could get at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Yu. Ranchinskaya showed the presentation about MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and mainstream of FL chair. The parents got the information about bachelor degrees, research projects, activity clubs and conferences available for students of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
