On June 08, 2018 MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin was proclaimed to be a winner subsequent to the results of the committee for ideology held at the premises of Gomel State Authority Office. This contest has been conducted annually for 13 years already.
MSPU named after I P. Shamyakin got honour to have a 1st degree diploma! Congratulations!
In April-May 2018 campus-wide contest for Ideology and Educational Affairs was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The main objective was to enhance ideological and educational affairs, to motivate students and teachers, to improve current problems.
The contest was conducted into 2 phases i.e. Phase 1 – to submit portfolio (i.e. achievements, awards, plans, reports for ideological and educational affairs were collected), Phase 2 – to inspect the hostels (the following criteria were taken into consideration: national symbols, cleanness).
According to the decision of the committee Hostel No.2 was declared to be the winner. We congratulate the working staff and the students!
On June 01, 2018 research and methodological seminar “Modern soil constitution in Mozyr’s Polessie” was held at the premises of Technology and Biology Department; chief organizers – representatives of the Chair for Biology and Chemistry Studies. The seminar was conducted within the framework of the National Plan for prevention from land degradation for 2016 – 2020.
On June 01, 2018 Sergey Gaponenko, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Belarusian State Fund for Fundamental Research, a famous Belarusian scholar in the field of Nanophotonics, visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin by the invitation of Professor Shepelevich.
Sergey Gaponenko lectured on new methodological sources of information devoted to crucial issues of Nanophotonics published in Russian and English. The lecturer described the main activities of the Belarusian State Physics Society and development of science in the Republic of Belarus. He kindly answered the question conducted by MSPU students.
On May 29, 2018 learning and teaching seminar “How to pass a summer internship properly” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Elena Sazanchuck, head of the sector for students’ internships, lectured on the typical peculiarities of summer internships arrangements. Tatsiana Paznyak, Head teacher, Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, lectured on the contents of the internship, the documents students were to fulfill and some topical issues camp caretakers might face. Irina Karpovich, Head teacher, Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, lectured on psychological issues such as cooperation with camp administration, parents and their children, psychological peculiarities of teen age and adaptation of children at summer camp. Irina Krikalo, Head teacher, Chair of Biology and Ecology, lectured on emergency medical service at summer camps. Vladimir Grinevich, Legal advisor, paid attention of the audience to legal aspects of being a camp caretaker. Diana Michur, 3rd year student, Department of Preschool and Elementary Education, told about her experience of being a camp caretaker.
