ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION “STUDENT SELF-GOVERNMENT AND ITS ROLE FOR THE EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS”

Valery Naunyka, Rector of the University, met MSPU students and participated in the round-table discussion “Student Self-Government and its role for the educational establishments”. Mr Rector singled out that collaboration between the administration and the leaders of the self-government was important for the effective solution of the current problems.

Taisiya Bibko, the Chairman of MSPU Student Self-Government, presented the report about the activities conducted from year to date.

Anastasia Stepanova, the Chairman of the Self-Government from the Faculty of Preschool and Elementary Education, presented her report where she said about the volunteer activity held at the faculty.

MSPU ENROLLEE WELCOME CEREMONY

photo Prospective enrollees visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, because Physics and Engineering Faculty arranged a welcome ceremony on March 20, 2021. School graduates from Mozyr and Mozyr District participated in the event. Inessa Kovalchuck, Dean of Physics and Engineering Faculty, opened the meeting and made a presentation of the faculty. She singled out that these days having the expertise in Mathematics, Physics, Computerized Physics and Building was important, because these professions were in high demand in the labor market.

MSPU students who study at Physics and Engineering Faculty have a wide range of possibilities for academic and research activities, sport and creativity. Inessa Kovalchuck said that MSPU had been participating in the Erasmus + Project 609557-EPP-1-2019-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “Development of practically-oriented student-centred education in the field of modelling of Cyber-Physical Systems”. The participation in this project opens additional opportunities for the students and the teachers of the faculty i.e. English classes, internships abroad, mutual scientific research with the partners from Ukraine, Belgium, Cyprus.

VICTOR KURASH VISITED MSPU NAMED AFTER I.P.SHAMYAKIN

Victor Kurash, the Director of the Department for Archives and Record Management, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, visited MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin on March 29, 2021. Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU, opened the meeting and greeted the guests, the students and the teachers.

Victor Kurash was acting as a delegate of the VI All-Belarusian Public Gathering. He singled out that the Public Gathering was a unique forum where people of various occupations and ages from all the regions of Belarus met. Much attention was paid to the main priorities stated in the Program for Social-Economic Development of our country for 5 years i.e. happy families, smart country, strong regions and a country-partner.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IS THE FUTURE OF OUR PLANET

Nikita Rachilovsky, a Youth Ambassador of the goals of sustainable development, met MSPU students on March 31, 2021. Nikita Rachilovsky presented the speech devoted to sustainable development of our country. Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, opened the meeting and singled out the importance of the Youth for the modern society as well as the future professions.

Nikita Rachilovsky informed MSPU students about the goal of sustainable development, goal delivery mechanisms, basic ideas and principles of sustainable development.

A.A. GROMYKO CONTESTS OF YOUNG EXPERTS IN THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

A.A.Gromyko Association for Foreign-Policy Research, The Institute of Europe, Russian Academy of Science, Academy of Public Administration united together to arrange a contest among young experts in the international relations who came from the independent states. More than 300 students from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the contest.

Vadim Prokhodko and Yulia Kudlach, 4th year Philology students majoring in “History and Social Sciences” participated in the contest and represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. MSPU students presented the research project “Patriotic upbringing of students: Project “The soldiers of victory”, “The children of war””; scientific advisor: Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Faculty, PhD in Pedagogics).
