On December 18, 2019 MSPU students met M. Zhuck, Deputy Head of Mozyr Tax Office. The meeting was held at the premises MSPU Center for Ideology. MSPU students were informed about the procedure how to get the status of a private businessman in the Republic of Belarus and the cases when there was no need to start this procedure.
On December 14, 2019 Regional Contest of Beauty and Grace “Mrs Gomel Region - 2019” was held at the premises of the State Establishment “Gomel Regional Public and Cultural Center”. There were 12 ladies who participated in the contest. Anna Bondarenko, Senior Lecturer, Physics and Engineering Department, participated in the contest.
On December 19, 2019 Research and Methodology workshop “Modern techniques in foreign language teaching”; chief organizer: chair of Foreign languages and foreign languages teaching methodology”; moderators: Tamara Likhach, head of the branch in Kalinkovichi; Natalia Tochilo, head of the branch in Mozyr. Eduard Kolos and Valentina Dubrovskaya opened the workshop and presented a creative performance. Teachers of foreign languages participated in the workshop and shared their experience, discussed the topical issues of foreign language teaching methodology. Irina Kovalevich, head of the chair, spoke about international contests and academic competitions as the project-oriented approach for studies. At the end of the workshop all the teachers summed up the results and determined the perspectives for further cooperation.
On December 21, 2019 MSPU team participated in Mozyr District Swimming Championship. MSPU team won the championship (total score: 468 points).

Dmitry Tsvirko – 2nd place (Physical Education Department, Group 2)
Yulia Martinovich – 3rd place (Physical Education Department, Group 2).
Victor Zavatsky (Physical Education Department, Group 2) was the winner in the individual championship.
On December 19, 2019 State Contest of Innovative Ideas “100 ideas for Belarus” was held in Gomel. 30 projects for innovation in social sphere, medicine and economics were presented. Yulia Kudlach and Vadim Prihod’sko (Philology Department) presented History and Biography Project “Children of War” and gained the diploma of winners. The aim of the project was to keep the memory and preserve the artifacts of the Great Patriotic War for future generations. Irina Zayats presented her project “Influence of hybridism on productivity”.
