The first spring months are always fulfilled with love, flowers and joy because of the International women’s day. On March 05, 2020 a festive concert was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. At the beginning of the concert the awarding ceremony of the best female athletes of the university was held at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Leonid Nekrashevich, an honoured singer of the musical group of the Army Forces of the Republic of Belarus, was invited to MSPU as a special guest and sang several songs to the ladies.

What is the main objective of the students’ internship? The answer is to form personal and professional competencies of a teacher. Right now the 4^th year students are undertaking a 9-week internship at the premises of Secondary school in Kozenky (Mozyr district).

What should be done for the internship to be held successfully? The answer is to arrange everything in a proper way. Thus, Irina Gutsko, Yulia Ranchinskaya and Lubov Puzan, acting as the leaders of the internship, visited the school beforehand and talked about the details of the internship with the administration.

CERTIFICATE DELIVERY CAMPAIGN FOR MSPU VIGILANTE GROUP

On February 18, 2020 a festive certificate delivery campaign was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Pavel Gushlyak (Mozyr Department of Internal Affairs) and Elena Marinenko (Red Cross Center in Mozyr) participated in the meeting as well. Svetlana Matveeva, Head of MSPU Youth Department, greeted all the participants and talked about the main objectives and functions to the vigilante group. Elena Marinenko told about the mission of this group and the duties of its members when there is a case of emergency. Pavel Gushlyak told about the military service and his way in the profession.

All MSPU students are welcomed to the vigilante group, because it is a great honor to take care of your country!

THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN FOR THE BELARUSIANS

On February 15 the Memorial Day of peacekeeping soldiers is celebrated in the Republic of Belarus. The day became a valuable event by the Order of the President of the Republic of Belarus d/d March 26, 1998 No. 157.

More than 30.000 Belarusians participated in the war in Afghanistan. Lots of people died. With the aim to honour the memory of fallen heroes the representatives of the Center for Ideology arranged a festive meeting.

Sergey Gurin, a peacekeeping soldier, Svetlana Philimonova, a teacher of History, Mikhail Kopach, a war song writer, were invited to the University to participate in the event devoted to the war in Afghanistan. The guests talked to the students about those days and honoured the memory of those who passed.

This day is a special day for us, because it brings us understanding how unique and fragile our world is.

DELINQUENCY PREVENTIVE MEASURES CAMPAIGN

On February 26, 2020 Irina Litvinova, Head of the Department for Citizenship and Migration of Gomel Executive Commiittee, and Olga Leshchuck, Migration Officer from Mozyr Department of Internal Affairs, met MSPU international students. Much attention was paid to statistics in crimes committed by foreign citizens. Ashe Soltanova, a Philology student from Turkmenistan, told about educational affairs conducted at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
