The personality of Ivan Shamyakin unites MSPU teachers and students! TV show “Enigmas of Belarus” was prepared by TV Channel “Capital City TV”. The episode was devoted to the 100-anniversary of Ivan Shamyakin. MSPU teachers from the department of Belarusian and Russian Philology participated in the preparation of this video i.e. Tatsiana Chechko, Elena Suzko, Irina Sudibor, Karina Malinovskaya, Regina Lisovets (MSPU Philology students).

This project is devoted to the outstanding Belarusian people and events. It is obvious that Ivan Shamyakin is someone great and prominent and we should keep good memory of the person our university is named after.

The representatives of MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin participated in the presentation of the practical educational course “School communities” for pedagogical students. Far Eastern Federal University is the manager of the course. The course was developed on the concept “School is the center of the society”. It was devoted to form the skills for creation of educational communities and it must be implemented with the active participation of parents. There are 4 chapters of the course:

STUDENTS’ CREATIVE EXHIBITION “FACETS OF ART”

Students’ art exhibition “Facets of art” was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin on September 14, 2021. The exhibition was devoted to the Year of the National Unity.

The motto of the exhibition was to keep the native language and let it live. The exhibition was arranged with the aim to maintain and to improve the system of artistic and esthetic education at the Higher educational establishments.

Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, opened the exhibition with a festive speech and paid much attention to the substantial aspect of this event. Olga Dorofeeva, Head teacher, Department of Technological Education, gave a tour around the exhibition hall and opened the artistic ideas of the paintings. Several honorable guests attended the exhibition as well i.e. Elena Klichkovskaya, Executive officer of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, the Chairman of the Belarusian Women’s Union, Branch in Gomel; Elena Pavlechko, Chairman of Mozyr District Executive Committee, the member of the Belarusian Women’s Union, Inna Lagun, Director of Mozyr Regional Lyceum, Chairman of Mozyr District Branch of the Belarusian Women’s Union.

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN “THE DAY OF SAFETY”

  The Ministry of the Emergency Response of the Republic of Belarus decided to conduct the social campaign “The day of safety” on September 01 – 10, 2021. The students of MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin participated in this campaign. Leonid Rakovshchik, MSPU safety engineer, Yury Solomkha, MSPU fire safety engineer, Svetlana Matveeva, Head of MSPU Youth Office, met the students who lived in the University dormitories and the working staff on September 10. 2021. The main task of this campaign is treated as the development of the safety culture in the modern society where the conditions for work and proper life are affordable and safe.
