AWARD CEREMONY HELD BY GOMEL REGIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

 On June 15, 2020 Vadim Prihodsko, 3rd year student, Philology Department, majoring in “History and Social Sciences”, who represented Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin, was awarded with a letter of appreciation provided by the members of Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

It is important to mention that the quantity of people who were provided with the letters didn’t exceed 5.

Vadim Prihodsko is a prominent representative of Philology Department. He participated in the creation of a historical project “Children of War” and a social project “100 ideas for Belarus”. Vadim took part in the research projects and prepared 7 scientific publications. In 2020 he did his best and participated in the International Contest “The best student of CIS – 2020”.

Vadim was born in Khotimsk (Mogilev Region). While studying at school, Vadim understood that he wanted to be a teacher of History and discover the world of mysteries. Once he was invited to participate in the Turov eparchial readings and was greatly inspired by the event and it brought him understanding that he wanted to enter Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.

Administration of Philology Department express their deepest gratitude to Vadim and Ludmila Gavrilovets, who became his scientific advisor and a great friend who always assisted him!

OUR LIFE IS A THEATRE AND WE ARE ACTORS

photo MSPU bachelor degree students who major in “Foreign languages (English, German)” prepared a performance after the reading of great masterpieces of literature i.e. (academic discipline “Reading comprehension”) Daphne du Maurier “Rebecca”, Charles Dickens “The Adventures of Oliver Twist”, William Maugham “The Painted Veil”. The costumes and theatrical scenery were well designed and it allowed the guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of those days. Irina Gutsko and several bachelor degree students visited the performances and enjoyed them a lot.

CONGRATULATIONS!

photo MSPU administration and the Dean’s office of the Department of the Pre-School and Elementary Education express their gratitude to the students who participated in the International Research to Practice Forum “Science and Youth – 2020: Projection into the Future” arranged by Orenburg State Pedagogical University.

It is important to mention that MSPU students got the diplomas of the 1st degree:

VIII ONLINE INTERUNIVERSITY REGIONAL ACADEMIC CONTEST IN RUSSIAN FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

photo VIII Online International Regional Academic Contest in Russian for foreign students was held on May 26, 2020. Philology students from Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University participated in the contest. The contest was arranged under the support of Russian Center for Science and Culture in Gomel, MSPU Center for Russian Studies, GSU Center for Russian Studies.

Natalia Avralyova, Head of the Russian Center for Science and Education, greeted the participants and sent her best wishes to the founders of the contest – Vladimir Koval, Doctor of Philology, Professor, and Sergey Kurash, Head of the Center for Russian Studies, PhD in Philology, Associate professor.

The contests were arranged in 2 stages. A lexical-grammar test was Stage 1; Speech presentation was Stage 2.

MSPU and GSU foreign students were well prepared and showed their deep knowledge in Russian and various aspects of the language.

NOBODY AND NOTHING WILL BE FORGOTTEN

 On May 08, 2020 MSPU students majoring in “Russian and Russian Literature. Foreign language (English)” and the curators of these groups Olga Sergushkova and Marina Fedorova arranged an academic and memory event devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. The students spoke about the acts of bravery our grandfathers performed, the days of the murderous war, the period of being in captivity, death camps, pain and sorrow.

The following projects were presented: “We remember and we feel proud!”, “My great grandmother is a hero!”, “75th anniversary”, “Great Patriotic war in my family”. The projects were informative and extremely emotional, because the students recited the poems and monologues devoted to the war.

Dear soldiers, let us express our deepest gratitude to you! You did a lot for us and we will always be thankful to you for the piece and wellbeing we have right now!

Thanks a lot! Nobody and nothing will be forgotten!
