CLOSING CONFERENCE ON SUMMER TEACHING INTERNSHIP

On September 10, 2020 Closing conference on summer teaching internship was held at
Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. This internship is an important
element in the system of the continuous pedagogical training of students. The main objective of
the internship is to arrange educational affairs at the children’s summer camp. MSPU students
strengthened their knowledge, broadened and deepened their competence while working at the
summer camps. Elena Sazanchuk, the Head of the internship, and Elena Dubovets, a
representative of the Department for Pedagogics and Psychology, met MSPU 4 th year students
who represented all the departments. It was important to talk to the students, to ask their opinion
upon new challenges and the experience they had got. Elena Sazanchuk made a speech and
showed the statistical data, later on she summed up the results. The students delivered the speech
about the peculiarities of work at summer camps.

Vladislav Svintitsky, a bachelor degree student, is known as a person who is
competent in Physics and Mathematics. However, not so long ago everybody was
deeply amazed by the fact that Vladislav was keen on pointillism. Vladislav
Svintitsky’s art exhibit was held at MSPU exhibit hall.
Pointillism is a special technique when a painter puts brush strokes of the same
shape in isolation from one another. It is possible to keep the same shape with a
technical drawing pen.

INDEPENDENCE DAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS IS THE MAIN HOLIDAY OF THE COUNTRY

A festive meeting devoted to the Independence Day was held in Mozyr on July 03,
2020 at the burial mount of glory. MSPU administration, members of the teaching
staff, students and workers participated in the event activities. Civil and patriotic
campaign “Let’s sing the hymn together” was held in the city center in the evening.
By the decision of the administration of the city a holiday firework display was
arranged.

It is important to mention that all the Belarusian celebrated the 76 th anniversary of
the liberation of our country from the Nazi.
In the lead-up to the fest MSPU students together with the representatives of the
trade union visited the veterans of the great patriotic war and congratulated them
on the 76 th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus.

THE NATIONAL HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS INVITES YOU!

On September 16–29, 2020 Art Exhibition “Youth” is being held at the premises of the

National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus. The exhibition is devoted to the 100 th
anniversary of the Leninist Young Communist League of Belarus. Much attention is paid to the
main stages of the Belarusian Komsomol Organization. The following items taken from the
collection of the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus were exhibited i.e.
documents, pictures, posters, everyday objects, subjects of labour, clothing and personal staff of
the Soviet people.

Republic of Belarus!

STATE LEAVERS BALL 2020 IN MINSK

State leavers ball 2020 was held in Minsk on June 27, 2020. Alexandr Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the event.

State leavers ball is a great event where the best students are invited and congratulated on victory in academic contests, great academic achievements, activists, etc. More than 300 students participated in the event this year.

4 students represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin i.e. Marina Zhuck (Physics and Engineering Department), Yulia Rusetskaya (Physical Education Department), Irina Zayats (Technology and Biology Department), Tatsiana Kiselevich (Department of Preschool and Elementary Education).

It is important to mention that Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU, awarded Irina Zayats (Technology and Biology Department) extra with a festive certificate for her great achievements in academic activities, active participation in social and cultural affairs of the University
