INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM "ENHANCEMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ATHLETIC TRAINING"

On December 12, 2019 International Scientific Symposium “Enhancement of Physical Education and Athletic Training” was held at the premises of Physical Education Department. Vyacheslav Gorovoy, Head of the Chair of Physical Education and Sport Disciplines, PhD in Pedagogics opened the symposium and told the participants how to follow the trends of healthy life-style and do the sports. Pavel Kvashuk, Doctor of Pedagogics, Professor, presented his report “Ways to optimize training process with regard to biological peculiarities of adaptation”. Teachers from Physical Education Department participated in the debates and discussed the problems and ways for enhancement of the system of physical education and athletic training.

UNIVERSITY’S SATURDAY CAMPAIGN

On December 14, 2019 University’s Saturday campaign was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin: chief organizer: Chair of Theoretical Physics and Applied Informatics. Vasily Shepelevich, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor, conducted a master-class “Holography and Research tasks in Physics” for the school leavers from Secondary School No. 7, 3, 6 in Mozyr and Secondary School No. 6 in Kalinkovichi.

Elena Ovsiyuk, Head of the Chair, told the school leavers about Physics and Engineering Department, Bachelor degree programs the university offered, Entrance campaign, opportunities and career prospects.

MOSCOW CONFERENCE DEVOTED TO 100th ANNIVERSARY OF ANDREY GROMYKO

On December 11, 2019 Moscow conference devoted to the 100^th anniversary of Andrey Gromyko was held at the premises of the Federal State Institute of International Affairs of the Ministry of International Affair of Russian Federation. The plenary meeting and 3 working sessions were arranged.

Delegation from Belarus participated in the conference. The following people represented the country i.e. S.K.Rakhmanov, Chairman of the standing commission of the State Council for International Affairs and State Security, G.V.Palchick, Rector of the Academy of management of the President of the Republic of Belarus, V.V.Danilovich, Director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, A.A.Lazarevich, Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences, S.N.Severin, First Vice-Rector of Pushkin Brest State University, V.G.Shadursky, Dean of the Department for International Affairs, S.A.Cherepko, Dean of History Department of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, N.N.Mezga, Head of the Chair for Universal History of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, T.V.Paliyeva, Vice-Rector for Research of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.

VISITING PROFESSOR

On December 11–13, 2019 Pavel Kvashuk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin with the aim to present the lecture “Methodology of work-out sessions for high-ranking athletes”; focus group: 3rd year students, Physical Education Department.

Invitation of foreign experts is the best way to upgrade the level of professionalism and competence of the students, because the best practice and experience are presented.

KETTLEBELL LIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

On December 07, 2019 Kettlebell lifting championship was held in Bobruisk. The athletes from Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin participated in the championship. Sergey Doroshko, Bachelor degree student, got the first prize as well.
