MSPU social teacher arranged a course of training for the representatives of MSPU student self-administration committee. The students who studied at the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education completed this course and got useful knowledge and competence in the field of leadership, time-management, PR-management.
Student forum of talents “Winter rainbow” is known as a famous platform for experience and talent exchange among students from Gomel region. This year it was the 23rd forum and it was held at the premises of Gomel Region Social and Cultural Center. There were 7 teams who represented the Universities from Gomel and Gomel Region. MSPU was represented by the team “LitGang” who got a festive prize. Dayana Dudlina, a bachelor degree student, Philology Department (MSPU) got a prize in the category “Freedom of Creativity”.

It is important to keep in mind that a modern teacher should always upgrade his professional competence. A teacher should be oriented to professional growth, deep mastery in professional field and dissemination of knowledge and experience with colleagues and students. Thus, the contests of professional mastership should be a good practice for all creative teachers.
Marina Efremova, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor, and Snezhana Ignatovich, a Head Teacher, participated in the International Professional and Methodological Contest “A true purpose to be a teacher”. The contest was held in Petrozavodsk (Russian Federation) on February 28, 2021. The contestants submitted the project “Testing as a tool for training prospective teachers of Mathematics and Informatics”. The project was awarded with the Diploma of the first category.

Social campaign “Healthy country – healthy me” was held at the premises of MSPU Gym No. 1 on March 03, 2021.
Brain storm contest “Wise owl” was held at the premises of Philology Department on March 04, 2021. 3 teams participated in the contest i.e. “Max & Co.”, “Primo Victoria”, “Flake of fire”. There were 3 rounds, each round consisted of 4 questions. Each team had 1 min to give the answer to the question and get up to 4 points.
Tatsiana Symanovich, the Dean of the Philology Department, and Irina Sudibor, a responsible person for educational affairs at the Philology Department, formed the judging panel.
All the teams showed great competence in the field of History, Literature, Geography, Music and Sport. Team “Primo Victoria” got the 1st prize. Team “Flake of Fire” got the 2nd prize. Team “Max & Co.” got the 3rd prize.
