Erasmus+ Project “Development of practically-oriented student-centred education in the field of modelling of Cyber-Physical Systems / CybPhys”

On November 15, 2019 Erasmus+ Project “Development of practically-oriented student-centred education in the field of modelling of Cyber-Physical Systems / CybPhys” started. The universities from Latvia, Ukraine, Belgium, Cyprus, Belarus participate in the consortium. Riga Technical University acts as a coordinator of the project.

On December 05-06, 2019 the first Kick-off meeting devoted to the management, tasks and objectives of the project was held at the premises of Belarusian State University. At the meeting all the participants introduced themselves and their universities and discussed the targets of the project. Anatoly Zabashta, the moderator of the meeting, spoke about the details and deadlines of the project.

On December 09, 2019 the first working meeting devoted to the implementation of Erasmus+ meeting was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The members of the team discussed the main objectives of the project, personal tasks, event calendar, deadlines and perspectives of the project. Tatsiana Paliyeva, Vice-Rector for research, the Head of the project, and Tatsiana Loban, the manager of the project, presented the content of the project and answered to the questions of the group.

According to the program of the project MSPU team will develop 5 new academic courses and e-complexes for bachelor degree students, E-book “Computer modelling of physical processes”. IT-lab and E-library will be opened for cooperation and mutual work of teachers and students as well.

Thus, the participation in Erasmus+ project will help students and teachers of Informatics, Physics and Mathematics in Gomel region to upgrade their knowledge and competence.

PARTICIPATION AND VICTORY IN THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ACADEMIC CONTEST

On December 10–11, 2019 MSPU 3^rd and 4^th year students from the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education participated in the 2^nd International Student Academic Contest on Inclusive education and Special education. The contest was held at the premises of the Institute for Inclusive Education of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank. The students from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia and Belarus took part in the contest.

On December 10, 2019 the contestants passed a specialized test on Special Pedagogics and Special Psychology. Alina Kashkar got the 1^st prize, Olga Klimova got the 2^nd prize.

On December 11, 2019 Ekaterina Novak presented her scientific project and got the 3^rd prize.

CHRISTMAS FEST

On December 16, 2019 the volunteer students from Physical Education Department visited the Territory Center of Social Services and arranged a Christmas fest for the people who attend this center. Lots of activities were arranged i.e. contests, games, flash mob, singing and dancing. All the participants were happy to spend the time actively and with joy!

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM "ENHANCEMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ATHLETIC TRAINING"

On December 12, 2019 International Scientific Symposium “Enhancement of Physical Education and Athletic Training” was held at the premises of Physical Education Department. Vyacheslav Gorovoy, Head of the Chair of Physical Education and Sport Disciplines, PhD in Pedagogics opened the symposium and told the participants how to follow the trends of healthy life-style and do the sports. Pavel Kvashuk, Doctor of Pedagogics, Professor, presented his report “Ways to optimize training process with regard to biological peculiarities of adaptation”. Teachers from Physical Education Department participated in the debates and discussed the problems and ways for enhancement of the system of physical education and athletic training.
