The Year of Youth. MSPU Students

09-09-1By the decision of the President of the Republic of Belarus YEAR 2015 was officially declared the Year of Youth. It means that the state places its stake on young people and, in its turn, youth policy has become a significant part of the state development strategy.

The work with young people is comprehensive and diversified. The main priority of this activity is to provide appropriate conditions for development of an all-round, moral and creative person; evolvement of initiatives, genres and kinds of student artistic creativity.

MSPU students show their talents in the field of science and research, sport and creativity. They participate in numerous festivals, contests and high-days.

Granting the Licence for Participation in Olympic Games!

a-gr-2015The 2015 World Rowing Championship was held at Lac d’Aiguebelette in France, from 30 August to September 6 2015. The annual week-long rowing regatta was ordanized by FISA (the International Rowing Federation).

Belarusian sportsmen didn’t become the winners, but were granted the licence for participation in the following Olympic Games. Stanislav Scherbachenya, MSPU graduate, and Igor Pashevich, 4th year student (Physical Education Department) will present our country at this significant sport event.

Stanislav Scherbachenya participated in M1x and took the 7th place.

Igor Pashevich, Denis Migal, Nikolay Sharlan and Vadim Lyalin (M4) took the 8th place. 

We wish our sportsmen new victories and great success in Rio de Janeiro!

 

Knowledge Day 2015!

      On September 1, 2015 Administration, academic staff and students of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin celebrated the beginning of Academic Year 2015-2016 and Knowledge Day.

As tradition demanded celebratory assembly was held at the university. The first words of welcome were given to MSPU Rector, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Valentin Valetov. He called prospective teachers for enthusiasm, insistence and a proactive approach to life.

China Through the Eyes of MSPU Master’s Degree Student

Elena Nahar, MSPU graduate and Master’s Degree student, got a lucky chance to study in the People’s Republic of China. Elena told us about customs and traditions, character of local citizens, excellent sights and some specific features of the Chinese education.
