Technology and Biology students are creative and imaginative young people. They try various styles and techniques. Aeromodelling and ship modelling have sparked strong interest in recent years too. In the course of lab practicals students develop graphical and technical documentation, perform design tasks, engineer souvenir airplane models and original sailing-ships.
On February 27, 2016 Doors Open Day ceremony was held at the premises of Philology Department. Upper-form pupils from School No. 16 (Mozyr), School No. 12 (Mozyr), School No. 11 (Mozyr), Kozenky School (Mozyr district), School No. 7 (Kalinkovichi), School No. 1 (Elsk), Vorotyn School (Kalinkovichi district) visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin in order to get to know better how apply for study.
On February 25, 2016 workshop “Perspectives and Research Techniques in Zoology (in the territory of South – East Belarus)” was held at the premises of Technology and Biology Department; organizers: Chair of Biology, Non-governmental Organization “Local Birds Protection”.
Tyumen State University with the support of Tyumen regional division of the Union of Russian Artists creative non-governmental organization and Department of Arts of the Institute of Psychology and Education of the Tyumen State University promoted A’4 2016 International Art Exhibition – Competition of Young Artists.
The main objectives of the exhibition are to identify young artists, to promote them at the international creative scene and to support young talented and promising artists.
On February 19 – 21, 2016 Republic of Belarus Track and Field Athletics Championship was held in Mogilev (sports complex “Olympian”) with support from Newspaper “Sport Panorama”. MSPU students, Physical Education Department, won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals.
