On April 29, 2016 round-table discussion “Training in Belarus: Adaptation of foreign students” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin; organizer: Oksana Muravyourva, Head Teacher, Chair of Practical Psychology.
The main objective was to determine foreign students troubles while training and to promote successful adaptation.
On April 01 – 30, 2016 International Student Internet English Contest was being held at the premises of Tomsk Polytechnic University. MSPU students majoring in English, German and IT took part in the competition. According to Contest Regulations there were 3 stages the participants were to pass.
On April 28, 2016 Beauty and Grace Contest “Miss University - 2016” was held at the premises of Culture Center “Stroitel’”. 8 bright and creative participants took part in the contest. The ladies had been preparing for 2 months; they were taught to defile, to develop their oratorical and acting skills.
On April 23 – 25, 2016 State Rowing and Canoeing Cup was held in Brest. Representatives of Physical Education Department, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, won 6 medals (2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals).
On April 26, 2016 Regional art fest “Youth to renaissance, development, future!” devoted to 30-anniversary of Chernobyl disaster was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.
Valery Bolbas, MSPU First Pro-Rector, opened the ceremony. Vladimir Chernyak, representative of Gomel Oblast Executive Commiittee of Belarus Trade Commiittee, reminded the students about the heroinism of the liquidators and those who gave their life for the country safety.
