On October 2-4, 2015 Open Championship and Belarus Karate Cup were held in Minsk (Republic of Belarus). 16 representatives of “SeyDoKay Karate Club” (Mozyr, Gomel Region) participated in the contest. Nikolay Ilyuk, 1st year student, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, won 2 bronze medals!

On October 5, 2015 Irina Karpovich, Deputy Dean for Ideology and Education, accompanied by the students of Preschool and Elementary Education Department visited Ecology and Culture Center (Agro-town Kozenky, Mozyr District). ECC main objective is to treasure the History of Motherland. In this regard it is useful to highlight that the younger generation should lay great weight on their dear land and the history of their ancestors, because only in this instance solid future will be created.
On October 5, 2015 Prof. Valentin Valetov, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, met members of academic and student staff.
Prof. Valetov told about the main achievements of the university and developing strategies in science and research for academic year 2015-2016. Questions of present interest (rules of conduct at the university, maintenance of order in student hostels and academic building) were brought up.
Prior to the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus it’s high time to come together and feel the spirit of the nation. Thereupon, on October 1, 2015 Philology Department Administration ran the special "We are together!" in order to unite the students.
On October 2, 2015 Teacher’s Day was celebrated. This fest is a special day when the personality of Teacher is glorified. A teacher is not just a profession, it’s avocation!
