On the 1st of December social campaign “Protect your life” was held at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The campaign was dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread HIV infection, and mouring those who have died of the disease. Students and teachers were fully engaged in it.
On November 19, 2015 Victor Hotsim, Leading expert of International Education and Career Center (Vilnius, Lithuania), Member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, visited Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. Mr. Hotsim was lecturing on “How to build a successful career”.
On November 26, 2015 Annual festival-contest “Freshman-2015!” was held at the premises of Cultural Centre “Stroitel”. The motto of the fest was couched as “I am a student! And I can…”
On November 24, 2015 young teachers, master’s degree and postgraduate students met Vasily V. Shepelevich, Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Professor.
The meeting began with the Hymn of studentship “Gaudeamus”. It helped to create special atmosphere of unity and sodality.
Vasily V. Shepelevich noticed that any scientist should have been a man of education, has got expertise in the field of his knowledge and has possessed a property of creation.
On October 20, 2015 representatives of Volunteer Organization “Stichting Kinderhulp Tsjernobylramp Wit Rusland” (Holland) visited Philology Department. The meeting was held on the premises of the Chair of the English language and Methods of Teaching of Foreign languages.
