On May 20, 2016 Annual Competition in Sanitary Forming of Civil Defence was held in Mozyr. MSPU team won the first prize! Students from Technology and Biology Department, members of academic staff represented our educational establishment.
On May 11 – 13, 2016 XXV State Fashion and Photo Festival – Contest “Fashion Mill - 2016” was held in Minsk. As usual there were traditional nominations: “Fashion school”, “Fashion Master”, “Photo”, “Style Master”, “Miss – Model of Belarus”, “Mr – Model of Belarus”, “Model – Debut of Festival - Contest”, “Top – Model of Festival - Contest”.
Victoria Yarosh and Alena Krysanova, 2nd year students, Technology and Biology Department, represented our establishment of Higher education. Teen collection “Blue Moth” by Yarosh and Krysanova consisted of 10 outfits and of various types of textile processing (knitting, painting, textile bijouterie). The girls were gained the diplomas of the participants.
On May 14, 2016 State University Saturday Campaign - 2016, a career – guidance and educational campaign, was held at the premises of the “Castle of Sport”, Minsk. MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin was invited to take part in this socially significant event.
Recollections of Great Patriotic War and gratitude to the winners are passed from generation to generation. Today we bow our heads in front of those fell in the battles and those who escaped death.
Prior to May 09 MSPU administration, members of staff and representatives of labor union organization met Vladimir Kochubey and Ekaterina Romanova, Veterans of Great Patriotic War, congratulated them on that significant event and wised them all the best. Regardless of time the veterans felt great and were joyful. After the meeting the students set up a tablet “Here the veteran lives ”.
On May 06, 2016 holiday concert “Songs of Victory!” confined to the 71-st anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Valery Bolbas, First Pro-Rector, opened the ceremony and congratulated everybody on this significant event. He said that fair day was of great value! Valery Bolbas also mentioned that in the present time youth was supposed to be the reliance and hope of the future and they were to take care and glorify our Motherland.
On that day lots of war songs were presented. However, no matter how much time passed we would always keep in our memory the names of the people who were struggling for our safety and prosperity.
