On May 26, 2016 III International Science and Research Conference “Mozyr Land: People, Events, Time” was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. Spearheaded by the Council of Young Scientists video conference “Historic reenactment as a means for Christian Inclusion through Patriotic education” was arranged.
On May 11 – 31, 2016 Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Belarus arranged State Awareness-Raising Campaign "Belarus against Smoking". This issue is known as a cardinal one. In order to invite attention to the problem of smoking it is important to promote information awareness on how this addiction is destructive.
On May 24, 2016 Student Art Contest "Talent Kaleidoscope" was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. 3 teams competed to win the main prize. In accordance with the Contest Regulations the students who were living in the hostels might have participated and got a chance to be the winners.
Volunteer association "Do Good" was arranged at the premises of Preschool and Elementary Education Department. This year members of the association have already made visits to Mozyr Orphan Home, Correctional and Developing Center, kindergartens.
On May 16, 2016 Students of Technology and Biology visited Mozyr Animal Shelter "Fast Friends" under the auspices of Svetlana Karas, Assistant, Chair of Labour and Fine Arts. The aim of this social campaign was to support the shelter and understand what responsibility, mercy and compassion really meant.
