On October 21 – 22, 2016 retreat session of Public State Student Council was held at the premises of BNTU sanatorium-preventorium in attendance of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
Victoria Korzun, Chairman of Student Self-Administration, 5th year student, represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
On October 21, 2016 body of active functionaries “Belarusian State Youth Union” based at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin took part in Youth Voluntary Saturday work and helped to arrange and clean the territory located near MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
On September 26 – 27, 2017 VI International Science Conference “Language – Text – Discourse: Dynamic processes” was held at the premises of Samara University. Participants from Russia, Belarus, Italy and Germany took part in the conference. Topical issues of Modern Russian, innovational processes in the field of text studies, styles and genres, international communication and General Theory of language, etc. were discussed during the conference.
Sergey Kurash, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Docent, Chief of the Belarusian and Russian Philology Chair, represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin at the conference. Mr. Kurash reported on “Semiotic gradual features of metaphoric constructions in Russian poetic texts”; the report reflected the results of scientific research implementing within Temporary Science Collective “Neology” for 2016.
On October 11 – 13, 2016 XVI International Research to Practice conference “Linguistic and Cultural traditions and innovations” was held. Scientists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, the USA took part in the conference in order to share new ideas and points on the subject-matter.
In an effort to collaborate fruitfully MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and Tomsk Polytechnic University maintained ties of friendship. Thus a teleconference bridge Mozyr – Tomsk was arranged. Students from Philology Department who were known as active members of a scientific society “Linguist”, Master’s degree students and those who were involved in youth science took part in the debates.
On October 13, 2016 research and methodology workshop “Psychological aspects of responsible parenthood” was held at the premises of Preliminary and Elementary Education under the support of Chair of Practical Psychology and Defectology.
