On March 19, 2016 MSPU career – guidance project “University Saturdays” was held at the premises of Physics and Engineering Department. More than 180 pupils and students from Mozyr and Mozyr District took part in the social campaign.
On March 14 – 20, 2016 within a framework of Financial Literacy Week in Belarus representatives of JSC “Belagroprombank” and CJSC “Alfa-Bank” met MSPU students and teachers. The main objective of the meeting was to enhance financial literacy of teachers and students. The lectures were devoted to the following issues :“Development of noncash settlement in the Republic of Belarus” and “History of money”, “Advantages of Card Use”.
On March 12, 2016 with the assistance of Technology and Biology Department administration members of academic staff arranged a Social, Educational and Career – Guidance Project “University Saturday”. More than 80 upperclassmen and teachers from Mozyr and Mozyr district took part in the campaign.
During the meeting school children and their teachers got a lucky chance to get acquainted with training techniques, specialities - 2016, material and technical resources and achievements of students.
On March 15, 2016 workshop "We are the Belarusians!" was held at the premises of Ideology Department, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The main objective was to improve legal literacy, make aware of right and duty of citizens. Sergey Schur, Svetlana Matveeva (report "Constitutional rights and duties of citizens"), D. Gramovich (report "Year of culture in Belarus"), Yulia Hodunkova (report "Constitution of the Republic of Belarus – the basic law and legal foundation of the country") took part in the workshop.

We hasten to let you know that monograph “Research and Methodology Basics of Technical Creativity” by Sergey Astreyko was published. The work is devoted to technical creativity of students, forms of creativity arrangement, methods of creative tasks solution, irrational methods of work, modeling and construction of technical equipment. The monograph is recommended to future school teachers of technical labour, facilitators. Methods and techniques can be used either during the lessons or out-of-school activities.
