TUTORIAL WORKSHOP “CONTEMPORARY MODELS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES TEACHING”

On April 13, 2016 tutorial workshop “Contemporary models of foreign languages teaching” was held at the premises of Kalinkovichi Senior High School; organizers: Chair of English and Foreign Language Methodology.
The aim of the seminar was to show the most progressive methods of teaching and share professional experience. Iryna Kovalevich, Chief of English Chair Branch, welcomed the guests and opened the workshop. Much attention was paid to necessity of upgrading contemporary teaching techniques in order to follow and meet new educational standards. Helen Suschitskaya held a master-class on “The Adjective. Degrees of Comparison”. Professionalism and mastery of Helen Suschitskaya was proved by awesome presentation on multimedia and interactive methods of teaching. Moreover, the teacher showed how applied grammar rules are used in real life; useful pieces of advice were given on what communicative methods to choose in order to enhance proficiency.
At the end of the tutorial workshop round-table discussion was arranged by Marina Starovoyt, Deputy Chief of English Chair. Much attention was paid to mutual cooperation and effective methods of further collaboration.
