CYBERBULLING: HOW TO PROTECT CHILDREN AND STUDENTS

On November 30, 2017 a round table discussion devoted to the problem of cyberbulling was arranged by the Center for Pedagogical Technologies. Students majoring in “Social work”, members of university administration, Master’s degree students and PhD students, social workers and experts in social work implementation participated in the discussion. All the participants were involved in the discussion because the topic quickened the interest of the audience and allowed the students to treat this problem as professionals.

In the period from September 15, 2017 till November 30, 2017 State Establishment "National Institute of Higher School" arranged a contest "«#STUDYINBELARUS". Foreign students who study in Belarus were welcomed to participate in the contest.

Yagmurova Umida, Philology Department, took part in the contest and presented her project “I study at MSPU!” It was a short movie about Umida’s life in Belarus and studies at our university. Mr Rector, V.Valetov, congratulated Umida on the victory and gave her a grateful letter prepared by NIHS.

Annually World AIDS Day is commemorated on the first of December. The status of this day is high because all the people from all over the world express solidarity at struggle with AIDS and HIV. MSPU students and members of working staff participated in “Health-Marathon” prepared by Non-Governmental Organisation “Belarusian Youth Union”, Health Establishment “Mozyr Regional Hygienic and Epidemiological Center” and members of MSPU Student Sector. Each participant got a possibility to take information leaflets, participate in the quiz, fill in the application form and take a symbol of World AIDS Day – a red ribbon.

With the aim to implement Study-Science-Innovation Cluster for Uninterrupted Teachers’ Training, Chair of Pedagogics, BSPU named after Maxim Tank and Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, started a new social project “YOUR FUTURE STARTS TODAY!”
