MASKED BALL AT THE PALACE OF INDEPENDENCE

On December 07, 2017 best Belarusian students and pupils from all over the country met at the Palace of Independence to participate in a masked ball. The President of the Republic of Belarus and the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus attended the ball. 4 MSPU students – Marina Zhuck (Physics and Engineering Department), Diana Mishura (Preschool and Elementary Education Department), Nikolay Artyushko (Philology Department), Vladislav Mitsura (Physical Education Department) took part in this magnificent event. To share the ball and to represent the University were humbling experience for the students. Informal socializing, amazing entertainment show, gifts impressed the students and pupils greatly!

REGIONAL WORKSHOP “HOW TO DEVELOP PUPILS’ CREATIVITY IN HANDICRAFT LESSONS”

On December 28, 2017 regional workshop “How to develop pupils’ creativity in handicraft lessons” at the premises of “Mozyr Secondary School No. 16”; focus group: members of methodology union of handicraft teachers and technical labour teachers. Representatives of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin –Sergey Astreyko, Head of Technological Education Chair, Elena Tihonova, Docent, Chair of Technological Education, took part in the workshop.

ELENA OVSIYUK BECAME AN INTERNATIONAL PRIZE WINNER

Administration of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin congratulate Elena Ovsiyuk, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Docent, Deputy Dean for Research, Physics and Engineering Department, on becoming a winner of International Award “Debut Community”, held on December 21, 2017 in Gyanja (Azerbaijan).

International Award “Debut Community” was established by the Council for Cooperation in Humanities (in Commonwealth of Independent States) and International Fund for Humanities (in Commonwealth of Independent States) in 2008.

This award is usually passed to prominent and young experts in Humanities. This year young teachers and associate professors have been provided with the prizes.

On December 29, 2017 Gomel Athletics Winter Cup was held in Athletics Palace. MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin was represented by the students majoring in Physical Education.

University administration and Dean’s office of Physical education Department congratulate the students who did their best and got sport prizes – Yulia Zborovskaya, Sergey Zelenkovsky, Alexander Rudenko, Ksenia Hanenya, Konstankon Lukianenko, Dmitry Ivanenko, Alexey Yarets, Petr Dalenchuck!

FESTIVE MOOD HELPS TO GET READY FOR THE EXAMS!

Winter is the time when students pass exams and credits. It’s all about work but not celebrations. However, Technology and Biology students know how to color their everyday life. TB students drew funny dogs, bunnies and foxes on the windows. The pictures were cute and made passers-by and university staff keep smiling. It’s also important to mention that creativity is a great gift. Thus, Dmitry Vasilenko, 3^rd year student, acted a part of Matroskin – the – cat in Mozyr Art Center.
