ALEXANDER PUCHKIN’S NOVEL “EUGENE ONEGIN” UNDER THE LINGUISTIC MICROSCOPE

On November 23, 2017 Tatsiana Tatarinova (Chair of Belarusian and Russian Philology) arranged a project “Let’s read Pushkin’s novel “Eugene Onegin” under the linguistic microscope”. 3rd year students majoring in “The Russian language and literature” participated in the project. Unique atmosphere fulfilled the lessons with charming feelings and the students got a lucky chance to enjoy the atmosphere of the 19th century known as an epoch of Great Classical Russian Culture.

On November 19 – 26, 2017 Elena Guminskaya, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Docent, Head of Biology and Ecology Chair, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, took an internship at the premises of Bryansk State University named after Academician Ivan Georgiyevich Petrovsky. The subject area was formulated as “Special disciplines in Biology (Human anatomy and morphology; cytology and histology; modern cellular biology) and modern teaching methodology in Higher Educational establishments”.

In November 2017 MSPU students majoring in Foreign Languages and Foreign Language Methodology met representatives of “Stichting Kinderhulp Tsjernobylramp Wit-Rusland”, Holland.

Such meetings have became traditional for Philology Department stuff since 2014 when cooperation agreement was signed between two establishments. Students got a lucky chance to get useful and current information about modern teaching techniques and volunteer activity held in Holland.

WORKSHOP “HOW TO ACQUAINT TEENAGERS WITH THEIR RIGHTS BY MEANS OF ADAPTED INFORMATION MEDIUM”

On November 15, 2017 Physics and Engineering Students attended a workshop “How to acquaint teenagers with their rights by means of adapted information medium” which was held at the premises of Vladimir Lenin Gomel Universal Library.

The main aim of the workshop was to inform graduate students. Much attention was paid to teenaged terror known as Cyber-bulling. Kaspersky Laboratory has been studying cyber-bulling and got to know that 26% of parents who participated in the interrogation hadn’t known their children were bullied; 58% of parents had to interfere into their children’s profiles in social nets and block them. 13% of teenagers said they had been bulled in real life (i.e. at secondary school, sport club, art school, etc.). It happened as a consequence of online-bulling.

«PUPILS AND TODAY’S ECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS»

On November 09, 2017 Pupils from Mozyr Secondary Schools participated in Pupils’ Research Papers Contest “Pupils and Today’s Ecological Problems” was held at the premises of Technology and Biology Department.

Irina Turbal, Head of Ecology and Biology Department, Mozyr Children Center for Art, welcomed the participants to start the contest.

In the course of Science to Research Conference the reports of pupils from Mozyr and Mozyr district devoted to various and topical issues in Bioecology, Chemistry and Biology were presented.
