On December 23, 2017 University Saturday campaign was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Professor Shepelevich, Head of Theoretical Physics and Applied Informatics Chair, lectured on “Holography and Research tasks in Physics”. Pupils and teachers from Mozyr State Regional Lyceum and Secondary School No. 5, 13, 16 attended the lecture.
On December 21, 2017 volunteer students from Philology Department majoring in “The Russian language and literature. Foreign language (English)”, “History and Social Sciences”, “Russian language and literature” visited State Educational Establishment “Mozyr District Center for Special Education and Rehabilitation” where they all participated in a charitable New Year project.
The atmosphere of the project was full of bright emotions, joy and love. The Philology students granted the center members household appliances which would be used in a special classroom for social and domestic adaptation of handicapped children.
On December 12, 2017 Representatives of charity organization “Chernobyl children support foundation” (Holland) and members of Nordick School visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The guests visited Philology Department and then met university administration – Valentin Valetov, Rector of the University, Nikolay Lebedev, First Vice-Rector, representatives of Pedagogics and Psychology Chair, representatives of English teaching methodology chair, representatives International Affairs department.
On December 07, 2017 international student contest on inclusive education was held at the premises of Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank. There were 2 stages in the contest: Stage 1 – Testing in Special Pedagogics and Special Psychology; Stage 2 – Defence of Student Scientific and Methodological Projects. Students from 6 universities participated in the contest.
