On October 25, 2017 Workshop on Law Knowledge Proficiency was held at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. University administration, foreign students and representatives of Office for Migration Service and Border Detachment participated in the meeting. The main objective was to point out legal system of the Republic of Belarus and prevent foreign students from abusive practices.
On October 26, 2017 Methodological counsel “Research activity implementation and Preparation for Centralized Testing” was held at the premises of High School in Kalinkovichi. Representatives of Physics and Engineering Department participated in the counsel. Much attention was paid to specific aspects of methodological aspects for centralized testing preparation in Mathematics. School Administration noticed high efficiency of such collaboration and expressed gratitude to the members of MSPU teaching staff.
On October 19 – 20, 2017 Representatives of Non-Governmental Organization “World without Boarders” met the students from Technology and Biology Department.
Representatives of the organization lectured on implementation of the project “Teens who Get in Trouble with Law: Support and Development”. The aim of the project is to enhance social rehabilitation and social adjustment of young people who got in trouble with law.
In Academic year 2016 – 2017 “Curator of the Year – 2017 Contest” was being held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Participants of the contest had to share their professional techniques with the panel of judges. In that vein the following things were presented: portfolio, rewards, publications, authorial programmes, methodological and practical training toolkits, plan for ideology and education work for 2016/ 2017, project for educational activity and self-presentation, research projects and a short movie “Our curator is the best one!”.
On October 14 – 15, 2017 IX Open State Sport Contest for Wheelchair Users was held in Mozyr. The following types of sport were included into the programme: paddle tennis, rifle shooting, darts, biathlon. More than 80 athletes came from Mozyr, Minsk, Zhlobin, Svetlogorsk, Svetlogorsk, Pinsk, Gomel, Mogilev, Kyiv, Bryansk. MSPU students supported the wheelchair users and worked as volunteers.
