On March 17, 2018 Administration and staff members arranged a workshop for pupils on Analytical chemistry within the framework of University Saturdays Campaign and Doors Open Day. Representatives of secondary schools of Mozyr and Kalinkovichi Upper Secondary School participated in this educational event.

Vitaly Budishevsky and Karina Rataito, 3^rd year students who major in “Biology and Chemistry”, conducted a tutorial on Qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of biological objects. The pupils liked the tutorial because much attention was paid to professional competence of Biology and Chemistry teachers.

Academic staff of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin have been implementing the concept of succession between Higher educational establishments and secondary schools. Thus, there is a close cooperation between State Educational Establishment “Mozyr upper secondary school named after Yanka Kupala” and the chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Mozyr upper secondary school named after Yanka Kupala is a branch of the chair and a pilot area focused on the work with the gifted pupils.

On March 14, 2018 annual contest “Mister University” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin. According to the Statute of the contest all the participants were to pass 5 competitions i.e. Art competition, IQ competition, Sport competition, Presentation of a hometown, Online competition. The jury evaluated the skills of students for art and music, IQ and capacity for sport.

The day of the constitution of the Republic of Belarus is annually celebrated on March, 15. The meaning of the day is well known to every citizen in our country, because the Constitution has determined a further development of the country, its social and legal status.

On March 15, 2018 MSPU freshmen participated in the meeting devoted to the Day of the Constitution held at the premises of the Center for Ideology; chief organizers – MSPU Youth Office and the members of Philology Department, Chair of History and Social Sciences.

BRIEFING WITH THE MEMBERS OF MSPU YOUTH OFFICE

On March 13, 2018 briefing with the members of MSPU Youth office on Legal support of Graduate students – orphans was held at the premises of the Center for Ideology at Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.

The following topical issues were discussed: housing question, career prospect, pay award. The students got acquainted with the law of the Republic of Belarus “About guarantees on social protection of students-orphans, legally free children” and Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus d/d 29.11.2005 “About the ways of housing regulations”.
