SEMINAR ON BEHAVIOR OF TEENS WHO GET IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW

On October 19 – 20, 2017 Representatives of Non-Governmental Organization “World without Boarders” met the students from Technology and Biology Department.

Representatives of the organization lectured on implementation of the project “Teens who Get in Trouble with Law: Support and Development”. The aim of the project is to enhance social rehabilitation and social adjustment of young people who got in trouble with law.

CURATOR OF THE YEAR – 2017 CONTEST

In Academic year 2016 – 2017 “Curator of the Year – 2017 Contest” was being held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Participants of the contest had to share their professional techniques with the panel of judges. In that vein the following things were presented: portfolio, rewards, publications, authorial programmes, methodological and practical training toolkits, plan for ideology and education work for 2016/ 2017, project for educational activity and self-presentation, research projects and a short movie “Our curator is the best one!”.

On October 14 – 15, 2017 IX Open State Sport Contest for Wheelchair Users was held in Mozyr. The following types of sport were included into the programme: paddle tennis, rifle shooting, darts, biathlon. More than 80 athletes came from Mozyr, Minsk, Zhlobin, Svetlogorsk, Svetlogorsk, Pinsk, Gomel, Mogilev, Kyiv, Bryansk. MSPU students supported the wheelchair users and worked as volunteers.

Minsk Semi-Marathon – 2017 was held on September 10, 2017. MSPU graduates (Physical Education Department) took part in this sport event.

Subsequent to the results of the marathon Irina Somova got the first prize (5000 m distance race) and Maksim Yuschenko also got the first prize (10 000 m distance race).

More than 30 000 people participated in the race. Semi-Marathon – 2017 was devoted to 950 Minsk anniversary and held after the City Day.

PREVENTATIVE MEASURES AGAINST INFLUENZA AND A.R.V.I.

On September 07, 2017 MSPU students met Helen Astapovich, a medical practitioner, Municipal Polyclinic No. 2, who lectured on preventive measures against influenza when vaccine and pharmaceutical products were used to enhance overall effect upon immune resistance.
