BLOOD TRANSFUSION CAMPAIGN

On February 21, 2018 MSPU students participated in volunteer blood drive campaign held at the premises of Mozyr Local blood transfusion station.

The motto of blood transfusion campaign 2018 was declared as “Belarus has a kind heart”. 62 students performed a pacifist mission for the sake of the sick, the disaster-affected, newborns, future mothers.

On behalf of the university staff we express our deepest gratitude to all the students who participated in the blood transfusion campaign!

OFFICIAL MEETING ON EQUAL TERMS ABOUT SAFETY

23-1-2 On February 20, 2018 an official meeting on equal terms devoted to rules of safety we all had to follow in ordinary life was conducted at the premises of Mozyr Department of Social Protection. MSPU students attended the meeting where the topical issues of emergency fields were discussed i.e. causes of flash fire, unforseen situations, followings of safety instructions, etc.

 

The lecturer was devoted to electrical equipment operating, stove equipment operating, contingency procedures, emergency fire-fighting equipment operating, necessity to set up voice fire alarm system in the house. Dmitry Boskin, Physics and Engineering Department, offered the participants to play a game called “That is a piece of non sequitur”.

MOZYR SKI RACE CHAMPIONSHIP

On February 17, 2018 Mozyr Ski Race Championship was held in the local recreational park “Molodezhny”. The team of Educational Establishment “Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin” got the first prize in team scoring.

REMEMBERING PEACEKEEPING SOLDIERS

On February 15 the Memory day of Peacekeeping soldiers has been annually marked in the Republic of Belarus since March 26, 1998 and in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 157.

More than 30.000 Belarusian citizens were serving in Afghanistan from 1979 till 1989. After the war 772 young soldiers were killed in the battle. 12 soldiers have been still treated as gone missing. 718 soldiers became disabled, all other soldiers became mentally non-stable.

CHARITY EVENT «FROM HEART TO HEART»

       16-1-1  On February 14, 2018 Annual charity event “From heart to heart” was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. The representatives of MSPU Youth Office and the members of Mozyr Local Center for Physically Handicapped People Support were central to arrange the event.

MSPU students were complimented with Valentine's Day cards made by the educatees of Mozyr Local Center for Physically Handicapped People Support. Friendly atmosphere, festive songs, creativity and warmth of the heart fulfilled that cold day with positive emotions.
