PRACTICAL TRAINING HELD AT THE PREMISES OF THE CHAIR OF PEDAGOGICS AND PSYCHOLOGY

Academic staff of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin have been implementing the concept of succession between Higher educational establishments and secondary schools. Thus, there is a close cooperation between State Educational Establishment “Mozyr upper secondary school named after Yanka Kupala” and the chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Mozyr upper secondary school named after Yanka Kupala is a branch of the chair and a pilot area focused on the work with the gifted pupils.
Cooperation of Mozyr Upper Secondary School and Mozyr State Pedagogical University is the condition for arrangement of educational process of two organizations which enhance the development of research and methodology facilities of two organizations and gives a possibility to implement practice-oriented training of students.
In that respect Irina Karpovich, Head Teacher, Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, conducted a series of tutorials on “Psychology of talent” with the participation of MSPU bachelor degree students of Preschool and Elementary Education Department.
While training the students got a chance to enhance the competence in “Methodological peculiarities of work with gifted students” and get acquainted with innovative approaches of work developed by Rostislav Minevich, Educational psychologist.
During the tutorials the students solidified the knowledge in “Diagnostics of students’ talent” and passed the test “Progressive matrices test”.
