CONSTELLATION OF LANGUAGE CULTURES

On February 20, 2019 literature and music affair “Constellation of language cultures” devoted to the 75^th anniversary of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and the International Day of the National Language was held at the premises of Philology Department.

Philology Department today is a place where you can start a variety of degree programs, creative ideas, and discoveries in teaching methodology. Philology Department is a collection of talented students and teachers, this is a unity of students from different countries, religions and linguistic environments.

MSPU LIBRARY CONGRATULATES THE COLLEAGUES ON THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY

75 years ago the University was founded. Lots of talented people and great experts in their fields graduated from the University since then. To please all the teachers and students the representatives of MSPU library arranged an exhibition “University chronicles”. Main achievements have been depicted there. Lots of pictures, articles and research books were collected and presented.

METHODOLOGY SEMINAR “CAREER – GUIDANCE FOR PUPILS WHO STUDY AT PEDAGOGICAL CLASSES (GROUPS) AND OPTIMIZATION OF THIS ACTIVITY”

On February 14, 2019 methodology seminar “Career – guidance for pupils who study at pedagogical classes (groups) and optimization of this activity” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin; chief organizer – Center for New Technologies in Pedagogics (Chair of Pedagogics and Technology). Secondary school teachers and social workers from Mozyr, Kalinkovichi, Retchitsa, Hoiniki, Elsk were invited to participate in the seminar. Representatives of the University shared their experience with the colleagues.

The following topics were discussed at the meeting:

– Forms and ways to conduct cooperation between secondary schools and universities with the aim to enhance career-guidance;

– Admission 2019 and its peculiarities;

– Requirements to reach optimization while working with pupils from pedagogical classes at secondary schools.

OUR MEMORY IS STILL ALIVE

On February 14, 2019 Festive affair “Our memory is still alive” devoted to the 30^th anniversary of military disengagement of Soviet soldiers from Afghanistan was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin; coordinator of the affair – Natalia Nichiporko, Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs, Physical Education Department. The main objective of the affair was to upgrade the level of civic consciousness and patriotism, to form positive attitude to life, to keep traditions, to support gifted students. Valeria Zhukovets, Anastasia Telepun, Ilya Borisenko, Anastasia Drik, Physical Education Department, spoke about the war history in Afganistan (1979 – 1989). Maria Golovachenko, Valeria Tarasyuk sang a song “In honour of our parents”. Olga Chechko recited a poem.

INTERNATIONAL MIXED MARTIAL ARTS COMPETITION

On February 09, 2019 International mixed martial arts competition was held at the premises of Prime Hall in Minsk. There were participants from Russia, Belarus, India, Ukraine, Lithuania and Afghanistan. Dmitry Zasinets, 1^st year student, Physical Education Department, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, won the 1^st prize!
