SINGLE SAFETY DAY

From February 20 till March 01, 2019 Social campaign “Single information day” was held in the Republic of Belarus. The main objective of the day was to create the understanding of safety and form basic knowledge about health and safety.

On February 27, 2019 a preventive action on emergency mitigation, crimes and administrative offence was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Training session was conducted as well. The aim of the affair was successfully achieved!

UNIVERSITY: YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW

The representatives of MSPU student activist committee arranged a festive affair “75 reasons why I love MSPU” and a quiz “MSPU in figures”. Every participant was given a special prize for each correct answer. Technology and Biology students prepared a quiz “From springhead to future”, everybody got a chance to recollect the memories about the traditions of the University. Preschool and Elementary Department students got prepared “a Happy lottery”. Physical education department students prepared a poster where the most prominent students were presented. Alongside with that all the participants prepared a wish-tree where everybody got a chance to make up his personal wish to the University.

75TH ANNIVERSARY OF MSPU NAMED AFTER I.P.SHAMYAKIN

February 23 is not an ordinary day for the representatives of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, because this is a day when the University celebrates its 75^th anniversary. It was a day when everybody met and enjoyed the celebration ceremony together. University administration, teaching staff, workers, veterans, PhD students, master’s degree students met at the Mozyr Oil Refinery Concert Hall.

Valery Navnyko, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, opened the ceremony. In his speech much attention was paid to the moments from the history of the university, the moments of victories and achievements, importance of everybody to success of the University. Valery Navnyko expressed his deepest gratitude to V.V. Valetov and V.A. Dudarenko, veterans, teachers and workers who made a contribution into the development of our university.

ACADEMIC CONTEST IN RUSSIAN FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

On February 19, 2019 academic contest in Russian for foreign students was held at the premises of Philology Department. The contest was devoted to the 75^th anniversary of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Tatsiana Chechko, Head of the Chair of Belarusian and Russian Philology, Sergey Kurash, Head of Russian Studies Center, Olga Dubodel, Head of the International Affairs Office, Elena Suzko, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, Marina Loban, Head Teacher of the Chair of Belarusian and Russian Philology.

The contest was divided into 2 parts: 1) linguistic contest; 2) dramatic reading. 3^rd year students from Turkmenistan participated in the contest (Shirin Orazberdieva, Novruz Muratdurdyyev, Yhlas Tatov) and 4^th year students (Kerim Tahyrov, Elaman Ezizov, Nurgozel Allamuradova, Jumayeva Ayjeren, Jennet Novruzova) participated in the contest.

ALL BELARUSIAN STUDENT SKI-RUN 2019

On February 16, 2019 All Belarusian Student Ski-Run 2019 was held in Minsk.

Representatives of Physical Education Department (Yulia Martinovich, Yulia Zborovskaya, Elizaveta Chimirko, Yanina Sodel, Alexander Nekrash, Igor Orda, Ruslan Mazurkevich, Andrey Pugach) participated in this sport event in the categories mentioned below:

– biathlon relay;

– skiing relay.

Yuri Doynyak and Igor Doynyak, Head teachers from the Chair of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education, participated in the skiing relay arranged for teachers.

There were 371 students from 49 Higher educational establishments in total. University teachers, heads of the departments and representatives of the Ministry of Education also participated in the event.
