 On October 14 – 21, 2019 Vladimir Savenko, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Chair of Physics and Mathematics, participated in the Joint Belarusian–Polish Research to Methodology Seminar “Radioecological safety” held at the premises of Bialystok School of Economics (Poland). The trip was sponsored by MOST, a project of the European Union for encouraging professional contacts between citizens of Belarus and partners from member states in EU.

Within the framework of the workshop the leading experts read the lectures. The following topical issues were discussed: “Radiation security”, “Radioecology”, “Ecology in agriculture: technology-related and androgynous soil pollution”, “Modelling in Mathematics, digital technology”.

INFORMATION MEETING WITH DAAD

 Within the framework of the project “Weeks of Germany in the Republic of Belarus” Yan Peter-Abraham, a DAAD lecturer, and Rock-band “Solche” visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin on October 30, 2019.

As we all know more than 2 mln students all over the world participated in the projects supported by DAAD. DAAD’s mission is to spread the German culture and language abroad, to provide Belarusian students with linguistic competence, to provide German universities with internationalization services.

 On October 18, 2019 the 3rd and 4th year students majoring in “Mathematics and Informatics” Physics and Engineering Department got a lucky chance to attend a lecture of Laylo Muzaffarova, Head teacher, who presented the report “Cooperation technologies when Mathematics is taught”.

Laylo Muzaffarova, showed the possibilities how brain storming techniques and team work would be introduced to education process. MSPU students participated in the discussion and expressed their deepest gratitude to the administration of both universities for a great possibility to upgrade their knowledge.

 Cooperation between Educational establishment “Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin” and “Navoi State Pedagogical Institute” (Uzbekistan) has been still developing and Joint Academic Project “Open lecture” has been successfully implemented.

ANNUAL REVIEW-CONTEST FOR PROFESSIONAL MASTERY

On October 10, 2019 the annual review-contest for professional mastery among deputy heads of correctional institutions took place. The competition was held at the institution "Correctional Colony № 20" of the Department of Corrections of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Gomel Region.

E.S. Astreiko, Associate Professor, Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, was invited as a member of the judicial commission to carry out collective educational activities in a proper way. Participant had to present their speech and be the members at the debate sessions. More than 60 people participated in these discussions.
