STATE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN "BELARUS AGAINST TOBACCO"

On May 31 – June 21, 2019 State awareness campaign “Belarus against tobacco” is being held in Gomel region. The motto of the campaign was defined as “Tobacco and healthy lungs”. Representatives of MSPU social support center in cooperation with the members of State establishment “Mozyr Regional Hygienic and Epidemiological Center” arranged this meeting.

Two informational platforms “Exchange cigarettes for vitamins” and “Lottery – May 31” was held as well. The main objective was to draw attention to healthy life style, harmful nature of smoking, awareness of smoking as harm to health. Much attention was paid to the thing that smoking was the main factor of Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease, cardiovascular morbidity, respiratory tract infections, cancer morbidity.

DEPUTY HEAD OF IT-COMPANY “ANDERSEN” MET MSPU STUDENTS

On May 29, 2019 MSPU students from Physics and Engineering Department met Ruslan Krapivin, Deputy Head of IT-company “Andersen”, a resident of high-tech park. Mr Krapivin told about the company, possibilities to be employed and attend online-courses JAVASCRIPT. This meeting was important for the students, they were deeply impressed by the lecturer and the information.

FINAL MEETING OF MSPU STUDENT COUNCIL

05 июня 2019 года состоялась итоговое заседание актива студенческого самоуправления университета, на котором присутствовали председатели студсоветов и активисты факультетов и общежитий университета, куратор студенческого самоуправления Туровец Н.И.

На заседании были подведены итоги работы студактива университета за 2018/2019 учебный год и внесены предложения по совершенствованию работы актива студенческого самоуправления университета на следующий учебный год.

По итогам работы студенческого самоуправления университета за 2018/2019 учебный год были вручены благодарности наиболее активным студентам.

SAFE USE OF CREDIT CARDS

On May 30, 2019 1^st year students from Physics and Engineering Department met the representatives of JSC “ASB Belarusbank” for the purpose to talk about “Safe use of credit cards”. Belarusbank representatives spoke about the rules of credit cards use, additional options of credit cards, 3D-secure system. MSPU students were impressed by the topic and asked lots of questions after the lecture. Everyone was given leaflets.

ACADEMIC MOBILITY TO ITALY WITH SUPPORT OF MOST PROJECT

On May 28-31, 2019 Tatsiana Paliyeva, Vice-Rector for Research, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate Professor, and Olga Dubodel, Head of the International Affairs Department, visited the University of Genoa (Italy). This academic mobility trip was arranged with support of MOST project (Mobility Scheme for Targeted People-to-People-Contacts). The University of Genoa is the oldest university, it was founded in 1481. There are more than 32.000 students at the university.

The representatives of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin met Davide Parmigiani, Associate Professor of Education, Department of Education; Guido Franco Amoretti, Ph.D., Department of Education; Nicoletta Varani, Ph.D., International Relationship Committee, Department of Education, and Diana Spulber, Ph.D., Department of Education. While negotiating the following prospective projects were discussed i.e. joint research to practice and educational projects, exchange of internationalization experience, innovative techniques in Higher education.
