Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Response met MSPU students with the aim to conduct an informative lecture about safety in everyday life. Sergey Nakonechny (Emergency Office in Mozyr) told about the types of fire, reasons that might lead to fire, advice of how to use gas and electric equipment safely. Mr Officer said there is a special device application “Help is close to you” has been successfully developed by the Ministry of Emergency Response.

1ST YEAR STUDENTS FEST – 2018

On November 22, 2018 1^st year student fest – 2018 was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. This fest is loved and appreciated by lots of people, because this is a great possibility for students to show their talents and enjoy the atmosphere of student life. Before the performance has started Valery Navnyko, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, gave diplomas to the students who had been enthusiastic about any activity held at the premises of the university.

The thematic field of the fest was devoted to peaceful and respectful attitude to the world where we all lived. All the first year students did their best to get the main prize of the University.

STUDENT THEATRE “PILGRIM”

On November 22, 2018 the first performance of Philology Department Student Theatre “Pilgrim” was conducted at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The viewers were deeply impressed by high level of students’ professionalism. “Through difficulties to the stars” theatrical performance was a comedy (stage managers: Yan Kovalev and Eduard Kolos). Young actors showed great artistic skills for singing and dancing. The performance was expressive because of special effects of light. The jury highly appreciated the performance and awarded the students with prize for “the Best theatricalization” and “The Best female character role”.

PADDLE TENNIS INTERUNIVERSITY СHAMPIONSHIP

On November 13, 2018 paddle tennis interuniversity championship was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The project was assisted by Mozyr Department for Sport and Education and Mozyr Executive Committee. It is a great honour to say that MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin got the first prize. Congratulations!

VOLUNTEER PROJECT

On November 20, 2018 students from Physical Education Department under the assistance of Natalia Nichiporko, Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs, conducted a fest “From Heart to Heart” for the attendees of the Territorial Center for Social Service. Various types of activities were arranged. This project helped the students to develop the skills for support, understanding, exchange of emotions, personal fulfillment.
