On October 21,2023, an athletics cross-country race for the prizes of the trade union organization of OJSC Mozyr Oil Refinery was held at the rowing base of the Pearl of Polesie Children's and Children's Sports School. This event was attended by the senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Disciplines Doinyak Igor Petrovich and the head of the sports club Doinyak Vitaliy Petrovich.

On October 20, 2023, as part of career guidance work at the Faculty of Physical Education, an information meeting was held between graduate students and employees of the Mozyr City District Department for Emergency Situations of the Gomel Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. During the event, the deputy head of the department Strelchenya Vladimir Viktorovich acquainted the students with the features and prospects of the profession of rescuer; with requirements for candidates; with employment opportunities through redistribution for citizens studying at the expense of the budget for service in bodies and units for emergency situations; service in the Ministry of Emergency Situations instead of the army. Issues of benefits and social guarantees for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were also considered.

On October 5, 2023, Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I. P. Shamyakin welcomes guests and participants of the Youth Scientific Forum "Education. Science. Innovations". The purpose of the Forum was to develop the scientific activity of young people, to involve them in solving urgent problems of modern science, as well as to introduce talented students to scientific and pedagogical activities.

Vice-Rector for Educational Work Sergey Nikolaevich Shchur, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, made a welcoming speech at the opening of the Forum. He drew attention to the social and scientific significance of holding such events aimed at finding and attracting talented young people to research activities. Participants and guests of the Forum were also greeted by students of the Moscow City Pedagogical University, a postgraduate student of the university from the People's Republic of China Wang Miao.
