THE ROLE OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE

The aim of the event was to support the role of the Russian language as one of the state languages in Belarus by developing ways of socio-cultural design when using it in the educational process. The Forum was organised by the Foundation for Support of Humanities “My History” in cooperation with Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy, Minsk State Linguistic University and Minsk State Institute of Education Development with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Belarus.

S.B. Kurash delivered a report “Identifiers of Russian linguoculture in the Belarusian poetic continuum: peculiarities of functioning, educational potential” at the plenary session.

The international scientific-practical conference “Interaction of Language and Culture in Scientific and Educational Practices” was opened within the framework of the complex of events, where S.B.Kurash gave a lecture “Communicative Space of Modern Russian Language as a Field of Interaction of Linguocultures”.

During the two days of the forum, master classes, seminars, and discussion platforms were also held on the formation of a modern educational space based on the Russian language as a unifying factor and a means of socio-cultural design.
