The university stage of the regional contest “Student of the Year 2024” took place in a bright and festive atmosphere. Technological and Biological Department was represented by Irina Mikhalenok, a 2nd year student of the speciality “Technological Education (Service Labour and Fine Arts)”.
During the self-presentation the student told about her student life, her hobbies and achievements.
The long-awaited festival-competition of student talents “Freshers’ Cup-2024” took place at the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education.
Student years are a wonderful time, which gives a lot of discoveries, fun and allows you to make new friends.
The theme of this year's Freshers' Cup is “Study! Go for it! Create! Time has chosen us”.
On 30 October, 2024 University students-volunteers took part in the republican voluntary action “Give the forest a new life”. They restored the areas damaged by the hurricane in the Leshnyansky forestry. In total, about 15 thousand pine seedlings were planted on an area of 4 hectares.
University staff and students are invited to take part in the International Online Chess Tournament.

On 29 October Valery Navnyko, Rector of State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin Mozyr, met with the students of the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education.
It is not the first time Valery Nikolaevich comes to the department, so the meeting can be called traditional. A lot of problems and questions that worried both the rector and students were discussed. According to the unanimous opinion of the guys, the pedagogical university gives everybody an opportunity to continue to be engaged in the business they have loved since school and to realise successfully, to reveal their abilities and talents.
