ACADEMIC CONTEST DEVOTED TO THE 220 TH ANNIVERSARY OF VLADIMIR DAL

photo Olga Sergushkova, Associate Professor, and Sergey Kurash, Associate Professor, arranged an academic contest devoted to the 220 th anniversary of Vladimir Dal. The personality of Vladimir Dal is great, because he was a famous lexicographer, an ethnographer and a writer. The 2 nd year students majoring in “Russian and Russian Literature. Foreign language (English)” participated in this academic contest. The students showed deep competence in this field of knowledge.

 

“LET’S MEET MIKHAIL BULGAKOV”: BRAIN-RING DEVOTED TO THE 130 TH ANNIVERSARY OF M.BULGAKOV

 

photoBrain ring “Let’s meet Mikhail Bulgakov” was held at the Philology Department on November 17, 2021. It was devoted to the 130 th anniversary of Mikhail Bulgakov, a person who is well-known as a great writer, a dramatist, a stage director and an actor, Irina Sudibor, Head teacher, and Elena Suzko, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, were acting as the chief organizers of this academic event.

Irina Sudibor started the meeting with a festive speech about Mikhail Bulgakov. She characterized the main constants of the creative world of the writer. She singled out how important the creative works of Mikhail Bulgakov were for those who studied the language and literature as well as for those who wanted to form their own civil mindedness and to develop spiritual and moral values.

EXHIBITION “STUDENTSHIP IS THE BEST TIME”

More than 400.000 Belarusian students annually celebrate the Students’ Day on November 17. This Youth Holiday is devoted to the International Students’ Day which is celebrated all around the world. The date to celebrate this day exactly in November was chosen in honour of the Czech students-patriots who struggled against the Fascism.

MSPU library congratulates the students on this festive holiday and offers to attend the exhibition “Studentship is the best time” where all the guests can get acquainted with the books and journals about modern aspects of social campaigns and educational affairs conducted by the students these days.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ DAY

The International Students’ Day is traditionally celebrated all around the world on November 17 by the students. This holiday is long-awaited, because everybody knows that studentship is the best period in life.

The activists from all the faculties together with the representatives of the University council prepared a festive campaign and created a special atmosphere of joy. There was a large festive campaign held at the University i.e. there were a lot of creative labs, interactive sport and music platforms, photo shoots, round table discussions.

MSPU student activists arranged a movie watching campaign at the student dormitories, quizzes, friendly games, self-government days. The best students were given a great opportunity to work as teachers and to try their best when act in a position of the deans of the faculties. That day could be treated as a rehearsal of their future career where effective, intellectual and managerial skills are developed and checked.

The 4 th year students from Philology Department majoring in “History and Social Sciences” undertook the pre-degree practice in the period of September 09, 2021 – October 31, 2021 at the premises of the educational establishments in Mozyr and Kalinkovichi i.e. State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No. 7 in Mozyr”, State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No.12 in Mozyr”, State Educational Establishment “Mozyr Regional Lyceum”, State Educational Establishment “Gymnasium in Kalinkovichi”.
