INTERACTIVE GAME “GALLERY OF APHORISMS”

photo 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th year students from Philology Department participated in the interactive game “Gallery of Aphorisms”. The participants recollected the aphorisms of the famous Russian writers. It was interesting and educational, because aphorisms were always treated as the indicators of wisdom. Tatsiana Tatarinova and Petr Ahramenko arranged this event and involved the students into the game.

Tatsiana Chechko, a moderator of the educational project “The Week of the Russian Word”, singled out that a modern teacher should have had “a magic box of wisdom”. She expressed her deepest gratitude to all the students majoring in “Russian and Russian Literature. Foreign Language (English)” because they were highly motivated when they took part in the event.

LIRERATURE REVIEW WORKSHOP

photo Philology students majoring in “Russian and Russian Literature. Foreign Language (English)” participated in the literature review workshop arranged by Irina Shulzhenko, a teacher of Russian and Russian Literature, State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No.8 in Mozyr”. The workshop was devoted to the studies of a philosophical fairy-tale by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry “The Little Prince”. Irina Shulzhenko expressed her ideas upon the problems which were discussed in the fairy-tale.

Prospective Philology teachers got a lucky chance to see that a modern teacher should have been genteel. A modern teacher should have comprehensive knowledge and bright future outlook. Irina Shulzhenko showed how to use classical methods of teaching when analyze the text together with the modern elements of modern interpretation of classics.

The participants of the master-class managed to enrich their “box of wisdom” with the quotations from the book “The Little Prince” as well as to get more experience in life and happiness.

The concluding ceremony was held after the workshop. All the guests and the participants took part in a festive tea-party arranged by MSPU trade union committee.

BRIEFING WITH VYACHESLAV KOVALENKO

Vyacheslav Kovalenko, Head of the Juvenile Inspectorate of Mozyr District Department of Internal Affairs, met MSPU students on November 18, 2021. The briefing with Vyacheslav Kovalenko was devoted to the explanation of the articles presented in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus and the Code of Administrative Procedures of the Republic of Belarus. Much attention was paid to the crimes committed by the juvenile in Mozyr district. MSPU students were informed about the consequences each person would bear if they distributed drugs (Articles 212, 339, 205, 206, 328 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, Article 19.1 and 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Procedures of the Republic of Belarus). Penalties and the terms of punishment were explained to the students.

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN “BARTER A CIGARETTE FOR A SWEET”

Social campaign “Barter a cigarette for a sweet” was held at MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin on November 18, 2021. The campaign was devoted to the World No Tobacco Day. The students bartered their cigarettes for sweets; those who did it received colorful leaflets about the harm of smoking. The main objective of the campaign was to inform the students about the harmful effects of smoking to the human health and performance decrement. MSPU administration kindly informs everybody that the University is a smoking free zone!

“YOUTH. ART. CREATION”: REGIONAL STAGE OF THE CONTEST “STUDENT OF THE YEAR - 2021”

Karina Malinovskaya (a 3rd year student, Philology Department, Speciality “Russian and Russian Literature. Foreign Language (English)” participated in the regional stage of the contest “Student of the year - 2021” and represented MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin.

Karina Malinovskaya finished the State Educational Establishment “Secondary School № 2 in Narovlya”. She won the academic contest “Searching. Art. Creation”. She is a moderator of civil and patriotic projects. She is a participant of literary saloons, “University Saturdays”, webinars devoted to Philology education.
