In an effort to develop moral and ethical forms of conversation and leisure activity, enrich aesthetic education, determine and support talented youth and promote a healthy lifestyle among students on April 16, 2015 a universitywide contest “Mister Sport - 2015” was held at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
On April 23, 2015 XXII State Student Research and Practice Conference “From Idea to Innovation” was heal at EE MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. More than 200 students from the leading higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus participated in the student scientific forum.
On April 22, 2015 within the frame of the “Week of Youth Science” a special workshop in Mozyr Department of the Belarussian Physical Society was held. Professor Shepelevich told the students of Physics and Mathematics Department about the UN General Assembly decision to proclaim 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015).
On April 22, 2015 within the frame of the “Week of Youth Science” a workshop “Acoustooptical and Photoacoustic Transformation of Waves in Crystals” was held at EE MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Professor Kulak, organizer of the workshop, told the students of Physics and Mathematics Department about the investigations pursuing at his scientific school.
On April 16 – 17, 2015 1st stage of campaign “Message to Descendants” within the framework of the project “Children’s Ecological Movement of Mozyr Land” was conducted at School No.6 in Mozyr. The project was presented by Evgeny Mashkov, 4th year student, Biology Department. 4th year students of Biology Department and 6th – 11th form pupils were invited to the meeting.
