On April 23, 2015 XXII State Student Research and Practice Conference “From Idea to Innovation” was heal at EE MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. More than 200 students from the leading higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus participated in the student scientific forum.

Irina Kralevich, Vice – Rector for Science, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Docent, opened the conference. Valery Bolbas, First Vice-Rector, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Docent, continued the welcoming speech. Anna Yudenkova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Chief of Graduate Center, focused her attention on the main achievements of belarusian young people in the field of science and innovations. Vasily Shepelevich, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sciences, Professor, told the audience about the UN General Assembly decision to proclaim 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015). Moreover Professor Shepelevich covered the question of the development of Optics and Holography in the Republic of Belarus. Achievements of a scientific school “Coherent Optics and Holography” were presented. Rainbow involving photographic materials gathered in Mozyr and Mozyr district generated great interest. Elena Gayduchenko, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Head Teacher, delivered a presentation devoted to the main fields of concern of Student Research-and-Development Laboratory “Mammalogist”. Oleg Brel, Head Teacher, made a report on the core competency of Student Research-and-Development Laboratory “Historic Reenactment”. Elena Gerasimovich, Master’sProgramme Student, and Valentina Naumenko, 5th year student, reported on their scientific researches.

Students of Philology Department presented a patriotic project “Warriors of War” (Project Supervisor – Irina Sudibor) dedicated to the 70 year anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Students and representatives from the leading universities of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian State University, VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Baranovichi State University, Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin, Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, Mogilev State A.Kuleshov Academy, Mozyr Polytechnical College, Mozyr State Medical College) gave their reports at the conference.

At the end of the conference Valery Bolbas presented all the participants of XXII State Student Research and Practice Conference “From Idea to Innovation” with diplomas and certificates.
