SCIENTIFIC SCHOOLS AT PHYSICS AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

On April 25, 2018 the leaders of scientific schools held at Physics and Engineering Department met bachelor degree students with the aim to lecture and present the perspective directions of work. Vladimir Savenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of Physics and Mathematics Chair, introduced 3^rd year students with the scientific school of PHYSICS OF STRENGTH AND PLASTICITY, new tendencies in development of modern science, practice-oriented techniques and about 2^nd congress of scientists of the Republic of Belarus which was held in Minsk on December 12 – 13, 2017.

SONGS OF GREAT WAR

On May 03, 2018 State Festival of War and Patriotic Song was held at the premises of Belarusian State University of Transport in Gomel. International students who study in Belarus participated in this festival. Songs, poetry, dances were very important for the soldiers because while having fun the guys could forget about terrible environment around.

Annagul Artykova (Physical Education Department) and Ystam Oraev (Philology Department) represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. They performed two war songs “Talyanochka” and “Katyusha”.

73RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY

On May 07 – May 10, 2018 festive events devoted to the 73^rd anniversary of the victory of Soviet people in Great patriotic war were held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. In this regard, MPSU students visited Yulia Khrustaliova, Vladimir Pugalov, Ivan Vafek – the veterans of the Great Patriotic war. The students wished the veterans to be healthy, vigorous and happy. On May 9, 2018 MSPU teachers and students participated in the project “Belarus remembers you!” MSPU administration, deans of the departments, PhD students and bachelor degree students participated in the meeting held at the burial mound of glory in Mozyr.

THE GREAT VICTORY

Great Patriotic War is a historical event which is always associated with pain, sorrow and death. The memories about that day will always live in our hearts and the hearts of future generations. The heroes of that war did their best to protect their children and provide them with peaceful life. In this vein a festive concert devoted to the day of memory of the great victory was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. War songs reminded the guests that no matter how many years passed from that time the memories were still alive!

STATE SOCIAL ASSOCIATION “BELAYA RUS”

On May 04, 2018 administration of state social association “Belaya Rus” met young delegates from Gomel region. Mozyr district was represented by 6 people, Tatsiana Shved, methodologist of the MSPU center for ideolody, was among the delegates. Yu.I.Kulazhenko, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Rector of Belarusian State University of Transport, opened the ceremony and welcomed the guests. A.V.Shatko, Deputy Chairman of State Social Association “Belaya Rus”, greeted the audience. During the debates important and topical issues regarding the role of young people in modern society was discussed.
