CLASH OF THE TITANS – 2018

Annual student affair “CLASH OF THE TITANS – 2018” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. According to the rules of the affairs students who live in Student Dormitory No. 1, Student Dormitory No. 2, Student Dormitory No. 3. are to present their artistic skills.

If to sum up the following results could be presented:

Category “The best movie” –Dormitory No. 2;

3^rd prize – Dormitory 2;

2^nd prize – Dormitory 3;

1^st prize – Dormitory 1.

All the teams were granted with the prizes provided by MSPU students’ trade committee and Belarusian State Youth Union.

WEEK OF A RUSSIAN WORD

On May 15 – 18, 2018 educational and awareness-raising project “Week of a Russian word” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin under the auspices of Center for Russian Studies, Russian Embassy in Belarus, Russian Center for Science and Culture, Penza State University and Upper secondary school in Mozyr , Upper Secondary School in Svetlogorsk, Upper secondary school in Kalinkovichi. The Week of a Russian word was devoted to 100-anniversary to Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s birthday.

Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department, greeted the guests and opened the ceremony. She said that the personality of Alexander Solzhenitsyn was extremely important for the Russian history and culture. Literature of Alexander Solzhenitsyn is known as a source of morality, spirituality and patriotism.

On May 16-18, 2018 IX International youth forum “I say Yes!” was held at the premises of Baranovichi State University. Diana Mishura, Chairman of Student Self-Administration Committee, and Annagul Artykova, international student from Turkmenistan, represented MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin.

Day 1 was devoted to International Multicultural Congress “National security of the country and the role of students for provision of these security matters”. Representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, veterans of war and labour, representatives of social communities were invited to the meeting.

Day 2 was devoted to Incubator of leaders “Enhance yourself!” Educational and interactive grounds were arranged for the guests who wanted to know more about leadership, skills, assurance and fruitful cooperation.

FIRST MEETING

On May 21, 2018 MSPU students who were involved in volunteer affairs joined the volunteer group from Charity society “World without borders” and visited Educational establishment “Mogilev State Specialized Enclosed-Type School”. MSPU students from Preschool and Elementary education department started the project “Cooperative friend”.

“Cooperative friend” is a voluntary assistant who has much responsibility in what he or she does. They work with teenagers who study at enclosed-types schools. They supported the teenagers and spent good time together.
