INNOVATION AND METHODOLOGY CENTER FOR SPIRITUAL-MORAL AND CIVIL-PATRIOTIC EDUCATION BASED ON ORTHODOX TRADITIONS OF THE BELARUSIANS

On October 02, 2018 there was a ceremony devoted to a newly opened center for spiritual-moral and civil-patriotic education based on orthodox traditions of the Belarusians functioning at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The center was opened and supported by the Turov eparchy.

Valentin Valetov, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Honorary worker of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Honorary professor of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, welcomed the guests as well as Avksenty the hegumen, Reverend Father, Head of Religious Education, Catechetesis and Missionary work at the Turov eparchy.

Valentin Valetov said that those days The Church and the University focused their attention to the enhancement of morality and patriotism.

DOORS OPEN DAY CEREMONY

On September 29, 2018 Doors open day ceremony was conducted at the premises of Technology and Biology Department. School children from Mozyr district accepted the invitation to come and get to know more about the life, bachelor degree programmes and career prospects. The guests saw a presentation devoted to bachelor degree programmes, art performance, a small tour around the university, master-classes, trainings and a meeting with the graduates who had already started teaching career.

MSPU STUDENTS AS THE JURY OF SOCCER COMPETITION

On September 28, 2018 Andrey Pugach and Artyom Yadlovsky, Physical Education Department, participated in the soccer competition “Ball made from leather ” as the members of the jury.

On September 29, 2018 Andrey Pugach participated as the member of the jury for senior championship of the Republic of Belarus among U-17 teams. Artyom Yadlovsky became a member of the jury team for five-a-side where the players from “Gomel Milk team” and “BCh team” participated. The aim of the competition was to get practical skills for refereeing in soccer.

Championship of Mozyr and Mozyr district in athletics among educational institutions

On September 27, 2018 Mozyr championship in track and field athletics was conducted. Representatives of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin successfully participated in the competition and honorably represented the university.

CLEANNESS IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY!

MSPU students participated in the volunteer clean-up campaign in the amusement park “Pobeda” shortly before Mozyr City Day. The students were highly motivated by the motto “CLEANNESS IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY!” and performed a mission successfully.

Pleasant weather, the sun and good mood helped the students from Dormitory No.2 and Dormitory No.3 to get the enjoyment and made our city much more beautiful, clean and magnificent!
