On May 02, 2019 a broadened meeting was held at the premises of the Center for Ideology where the representatives of MSPU Student Self-Government Committee met Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Svetlana Matveeva, Head of MSPU Youth Office, and Ilona Kolossovskaya, Secretary of “Belarusian State Youth Union”. The main objective of the meeting was to conduct a dialogue with the administration of the University, to inform about the achievements, to ask the questions and to find solutions to the problems.

MISTERIES OF BELARUSIAN HISTORY

On April 20, 2019 vocational orientation affair “Misteries of Belarusian history” was held at the premises of Philology Department; chief organizer – Chair of History and Social Sciences. Pupils from Secondary schools of Mozyr and Kalinkovichi participated in the affair. The guests were invited to participate in Quest “Going down the road of History” and 8 historical games “Historical tour”, “Historical ABC”, “Bluff game”, “Let’s guess”, “Pantomime”, “Logical tricks”, “Landmark domino”, “Calendar of our ancestors”. Then all the guests participated in the quiz “Famous people of Belarus”. The following reports were presented to the guests: “Political repression of Stalin”, “Women in History of Belarus”, “Social and cultural cooperation of Belarus and Ukraine as the members of The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth”.

XVIII STATE SCIENCE AND METHODOLOGY EXHIBITION OF BOOKS, EXPERIENCE IN PEDAGOGICS AND ART

On April 17–19, 2019 representatives of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin participated in the XVIII state science and methodology exhibition of books, experience in pedagogics and art. The exhibition was divided into 3 days: “Day of Innovations”, “Day of Initiatives”, “Day of Sport and Creativity”. All the guests were invited to participate in master-classes, quizzes, presentations, flashmobs. Igor Karpenko, the Minister of the Education of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the exhibition as well. More than 70 projects were presented at the exhibition. Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin got the diploma of the 3^rd grade “For topicality of the projects devoted to training of civil qualities of students”. Ludmila Gavrilovets was provided with a festive diploma “For personal benefit to dissemination of positive experience of pedagogical experience in the sphere of tourism, country studies and tours”.

REGIONAL CONTEST “I WANT TO BE A TEACHER”

On April 19, 2019 a final stage of the regional contest “I want to be a teacher” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The winner of the contest participated in the contest “How to become a teacher: Step by step”.

31 pupils from Polesye region participated in the competition. E.Dygun, L.Tsalko, T.Paznyak (Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology) arranged a section for these pupils. The work of the section started with the self-presentation of the pupils and welcoming speech. Then everybody participated in “Pedagogical quiz”. The quiz consisted of 2 parts “Headpiece in Pedagogics” and “Competence in Pedagogics”. Those students who successfully did all the tasks were invited to participate in the super game. The winners got festive diplomas.

INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CONFERENCE

On April 18, 2019 representatives of Philology Department participated in the 5^th Russian Research International Online Conference “A master’s degree student will bring profit to science and education: topical issues of the modern literature education”. The conference was guided by Alla Antipova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, a bright representative of Moscow Pedagogical State University. Much attention was paid to research and methodology supply of literature education available for students, enhancement of literature teaching methodologies techniques, means to optimize master’s degree programs in “Literature studies”, “Literature education”. Master’s degree students from Moscow Pedagogical State University, Kazan Federal University, Voronezh State University, Vyatka State University, Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University, Tula State Pedagogical University, Penza State University, Mogilev State University.

Tatsiana Shved, MSPU Master’s degree student (scientific advisor – Tatsiana Chechno, Phd in Pedagogics) presented the report “Female image as a tool to implement philosophic principles of Leo Tolstoy in his novel “War and Piece””.
